I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've done everything in my power to do things. I've kept my deck small, I've kept it big, I've hunted Elites for Relics, I've skipped fights trying to get the most Campfires and conserve HP, I've looked at builds online, I've done just about everything I can think of to get better, yet I win like 1/50 attempts, and that's only when I get a REALLY OP build like being able to Double/Triple poison two or three times, or able to get my Strength up to an ungodly level. With 999 I guess I was more used to the voices "in my head" if that makes sense so I didn't bother listening to the voice acting for the vita collection after the first few min. With VLR it's a fresh start so I was more willing to give it a chance and ultimately I've ended up liking the va so far. There's actual nuance and proper delivery given, which is a nice surprise because I wasn't sure if these small studios could afford good va. Especially for localization. Draft of Darkness is a pretty good deck builder roguelike, but it's quite slow and bogs itself down with too many systems to keep track of imo.
