A thought I had... Yuffie/Emet/Tidus/Aerith... the past 4 eliminated characters all have great theme music imo (and sure, throw Celes on there if you want to make it 5). Who does this bode poorly for if this trend continues??

i don't really agree with Yuffie's theme being anything special and idk Emet's, but Kefka and Seymour definitely have the two best FF songs that you could associate with a specific character. not their official character themes, though, the battles. Garnet's theme is really good, too.

i installed it but it didn't work, probably the fact that i'm still using firefox 56. well i don't have too many users that would pop up anyway so i can make regular highlighting work (i've used it in the past but turned it off after smfffc was over, then never turned it back on). bigger issue is the small window width stretches everything so much it can only display 3 topics, but even that would only matter for the moment i get on the computer if the round has been up for a while.

i already abuse multiple windows and don't really have the screen space for that. i guess if i actually had a good highlighting solution i could make like a 100 pixel width window for the auto refresh

When I quit playing Surtr and Dancing Azura and Veronica and beast units and a dozen OP 'loli' dragons were the meta. And the super annoying Aether Raids.

yeah that's around when i started losing interest. power creep has gotten even worse since then. i still play it but pretty casually.

Well, what's strange for me is that some of my favorite games are MMORPGs, plus Diablo II which has a similar feel, and I didn't think of any of them. I guess it's because I think of "MMO" and "multiplayer" as being two distinct things, and then add to that the fact that I've barely played anything else online.

Also thought of Melee for some reason. My first valid thought was Halo, but even that I never played online, only LAN/PC or 4 players on an Xbox. I did play one session of Halo 2 online.
