Yeah, Speed & Pretzel were definitely shipped in my PotD headcanon. I either didn't see Speed's interactions with Harena, or I blocked them out of my mind because it ruined my e-crush.

I think we kept things pretty hush-hush on the board for the most part. It primarily started out on an AIM chat room. If I remember correctly, I made little clay figures of people in the chat and posted on the board. She messaged me to thank me, and then we just started messaging each other every day.

Pretzel and I just had matching sigs for two months or so? I don't remember any of our board interactions tbh. That's weird that you shipped us though.

Without going into it too much, WE GOT HISTORY.

WITH GOING INTO IT A LITTLE, we used to talk a looooot. This was before Netflix did streaming (though she had a Netflix subscription IIRC, so she could get DVDs), so we'd pirate some movies, do a countdown, and watch stuff together. We also exchanged music and I still use an MP3 player, so some of the songs she sent me are still on there. We also sent each other presents/letters. There were other things too.

The round where Slim won solo was crazy.

Ellie used the WORDS to get Darth voted out.
Some reason we agreed to go for the 50-50 and vote her out.
Neither of them were imposters. The WORDS got two crew members dead.
Slim self-reported a kill in storage after passing Drink.
Drink says he passed by me, so suspicions were on me for a bit. I thought it could've been a self-report (and honestly should've run harder with it, but...).
Crow apparently accidentally murmured something over mic during the round (I didn't hear anything). We hit the emergency call, Drink and I reason that if Darth was the imposter, there's no way he would've outted Slim, so the other imp had to be Crow. It wasn't.
We voted him off and threw the freaking game.

Finding a rent controlled place in the Bay Area is a godsend. I've lived in multiple locations in San Jose, but the best was a rent controlled apartment that allowed me to properly save. It wasn't as a fun as living in the punk house in Oakland, but these days I'll take the stability over the excitement. Nice not dealing with waking up to some rando ODing on the kitchen table.

I'd recommend opening a ROTH IRA. Avoid any management fees and manage it yourself. Max it out each year (max contributions changes year-to-year, but it's been around $6000).

My favorite sponsorship story is when a Twitch streamer was being paid to play a new gacha. She kept calling the characters waifus the first day and the days immediately after she stopped using the word altogether. Twitch chat noticed very quickly and it became a meme to post about it. When the sponsorship was over, she confessed that the sponsors asked her to stop calling the characters waifus.

Nowadays the sponsored ads take about 2 minutes on a 10 minute video.

I dreamt I was bringing blue roses to my girlfriend. I had about a dozen of them. I was at a recreational indoor soccer field in a new part of town. I kept encountering people who wanted blue roses. They'd give me stories about how their SO would be really happy if they brought them one or that they wanted one because it reminded them of someone important. I parted with a lot of them until I only had about four or so.

When I found my girlfriend she was upset about something. At first I thought it was because I gave most of the roses away. Then I remembered I don't have a girlfriend.

So you play like a teacher? And you date the students and send them to war?

Without too many spoilers, yeah. Teaching/lecturing is one of the ways to increase a character's weapon mastery (alongside the traditional "just using the weapon in battle"). The traditional weapon triangle isn't technically in the game, but it sorta is because as you gain weapon mastery, you unlock skills and abilities (the weapon triangle gets restored through skills, so sword units will get axebreaker etc.... of course, you can choose just not to equip it).

Supports are all unique and VOICED.

There's four story paths (and you don't have to buy them separately!) and New Game+ if you want to play again with some added benefits.

* serums (for wrinkles)
* sheet mask (20 min + soak in after)

DLC not totally worth it. But if you like the game enough and want some extra classes, characters, or support conversations, go for it.

what is the book about? that's cool! I need to get better about reading. I was really good at the beginning of sheltering in place, would have a bedtime routine of 8pm do skincare, get in bed, read. But that's kinda gone to shit lately.

It's fantasy. It's about a sister searching for her kidnapped, younger sister. Some people have a singing gift that lets them "control" elements. The kidnapped sister is a fire singer. The main character cannot sing (AS FAR AS I KNOW!). I actually read a snippet of it like 8 years ago when my friend and I were in a creative writing class together.

But yeah, I'm trying to get better at reading too. I made it through the prologue and am halfway through chapter 1. There aren't enough hours in the day.

Losing fat mostly. Gyms are essentially closed for now (it's been back and forth between opening and closing). I have exercise bands (all of them combined is only 150 lbs) and that's about it in terms of exercise equipment.

Do you listen to anything while working out? Music? Podcasts? Audiobooks?

I think my biggest problem is consistentcy. I mostly need to make sure I don't skip any days. Usually when I do, it gets easier and easier to skip each day until I stop altogether.

I did some warm-up stretches and then 20 push-ups. I gotta go to bed now. I think I need to cut a game out of my routine. I just don't have time to do other things otherwise. If I cut Starcraft 2 out, I'll get about half an hour. If I cut out Dota 2, I'll get like 2 hours... but I love that game.
