Truthfully, it doesn't really matter, if you want to be honest you can, but the guy whose stuff you got probably already called and complained, and the OGP associates ran around trying to find it, apologized, and started repicking what they couldn't find.

Personal experience here: You'd be amazed how dysfunctional a Walmart really is when you're working in it. Even if it looks like everything is running mostly smoothly aside from the lines at the checkouts. There's probably at least one disaster taking place in the backroom.

I've never worked retail, nor would I ever want to after hearing horror stories from my dad and everyone I've ever known who's worked retail, but I absolutely would believe it's a complete **** show XD

Oh, also from experience, because people getting stuff they didn't order has happened at my store more than once, they'll generally say you don't need to return the stuff you didn't order. Especially if there was cold stuff in it, because once it's out of our custody, we can't do anything besides trash it out. Actually, that even includes if you take it out of a case and it doesn't leave the store. That's all food safety regulations. And yes, the response I know a manager got to the "we don't need it back" was "well what am I supposed to do with this crap?"

As of now, nobody at walmart knows I have the extra stuff, only that I was missing stuff (which I'm going to get a refund for).

When I call the store, should I mention that I got extra stuff so they can piece together what happened, or would it be better if I just say some stuff was missing?

Yeah, so, that customer service number, for OGP issues, is totally worthless, I'm not even sure it's useful for anything, I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble from the "I'm calling corporate" Karens. Well, assuming they actually do it.

And generally, being angry helps, they'll bend over backwards to calm you down and keep you from taking your business elsewhere.

Oh, I'm 100% positive that's what happened. They've pulled me to help dispense, and when they get behind, it gets crazy and chaotic.

Oh, and an aside, do not use the home delivery. It's not run by Walmart, it's contracted out to Doordash, Uber Eats, and... Some third one I can't remember, and we get at least a complaint a week about it. And they never want to hear "I'm sorry, you're going to have to call Doordash, this isn't our fault." The response as I've gathered is basically "WELL I ORDERED FROM WALMART!" We get constant cancelled orders, or else they don't show up, it's appalling.

Too much pressure and not my responsibility. I would also be too concerned that they're taking advantage of me by having me help them, because I'd be pretty untrusting of aliens, especially if they're trying to leverage a familial relationship to pressure them to help me.

As someone who works for Walmart I have two observations
1. His story is 100% true
2. He got the wrong OGP order because someone fucked up, someone else is trying to figure otu where his shit is and is probably very upset.
3. Wait, the store you called has hold music?

I called customer support.

Also, I have a question. Since $20 of my stuff was missing, but the min order is $35, can they waive that so I don't have to spend an extra $15? If not, what are my options for getting my $20 of stuff that was missing?

So just now I went to pick up my $80 grocery order from Walmart, which I placed online, right?

When I got home, I realized I had a bunch of extra stuff, including PROPANE?? chips, caramel dip, soda, and all kinds of plates, camping equipment, etc. But I was also missing like $20 of my groceries, including hash browns =<, ramen, tortillas, bread, onions, potatoes, and cereal. Not mention my COFFEE????

So I called up Walmart and I'm actually on the phone with them now. The hold music is ROCKIN', and it looks like they're going to refund all my missing items, but they don't KNOW about my extra items. So I lucked out I guess.

As we speak, I'm enjoying the cool smooth taste of Diet Dr Papsmear.

So far, every definition I've seen for gender is that it represents how someone feels about them self and wants to present as, between a feminine and masculine scale, or outside the scale. Gender is considered as having to do with masc/fem characteristics because that's the first thing we see when we look at someone, and it's considered the most important distinction. Someone can be born AMAB but sees them self as fem and wants to be seen as fem, so they are transfeminine. But what if someone wants to be seen as a cat for instance, and feels like a cat; that person has cat gender. I think the definition of gender should expand from how someone wants to be perceived and identifies within the scope of masc and fem, to just how they want to be perceived and how they identify AT ALL.

This is big brain, I'm not expecting most of CE to understand or agree with me. Curious what the gender - knowledgeable people have to say tho.

I'm sorry but I believe you're either a boy or a girl. Then you have different sexual preferences/desires and different mindsets on life. But it doesnt necessarily make you an entirely new gender because you're a man that's gay who likes to wear women's clothing and perhaps is slightly more feminine in mindset. You're still a man at the end of it all

You can't squeeze 7 billion people into 2 boxes, so it makes sense that there would be a bunch of different genders, regardless of if you understand them. And no, I'm not talking about someone who identifies as a tree (although tree gender could be a thing for all I know).

You mentioned someone being a boy or a girl - are you talking about sex or gender? Because some genetically male people don't react to testosterone so their bodies look like women (AIS)

We are all individuals. "Man", "woman", "non-binary", "none", "helicopter", or whatever, and the infinite nuances of all of those and the rest, are an individual experience.

I completely agree that each individual experiences gender differently through the infinite nuances. People still like to be able to put labels on who they are sometimes, for the purpose of solidarity with others in the group, and people have multiple labels. Like someone can be Trans, NonBinary, a Demigirl, and LBGT, wouldn't you agree?

How specific can you get before you just delve into character traits that describe us as individuals?

I'm more for dissolving gender as a whole as opposed to adding onto it.

Gender is a combination of how you see yourself and your role in society and how you want to be perceived by others, which is typically somewhere along the spectrum between feminine and masculine, and what's considered fem and masc changes between cultures.

So while there are 7 billion people and each of them have their own personalities and character traits, each person does still have labels that apply to them, like man, woman, some may be nonbinary, genderfluid, etc. The point isn't to have 7 billion genders - one for each person - but rather, to have a wide selection of genders where someone who is non gender conforming can say, "Yes, this is how I feel. I want to identify this way", and we don't need 7 billion to do that.

As far as dissolving gender, that doesn't help anyone. Social expectations and roles still exist, and femininity and masculinity still exists, so you can't get rid of gender anyway, but it would especially harm trans people because someone could say, "You're not valid as a MtF - in fact, gender isn't real at all".

How does that work? Like all genders are the result of the interaction of self and society. Youd have needed to have had an incredibly bizarre life for that to become sufficiently complex and unique to not be describable.

As far as my understanding of gender goes, someone's gender identity would've necessarily have to be that unique for their to be no current name for it.

There are already genders where someone identifies as 2 genders, but while one of those genders is changing (flux) the other gender is static (Demiflux https://gender.wikia.org/wiki/Demiflux).

So, let's say you have someone who has 4 genders (quadgender https://gender.wikia.org/wiki/Quadgender) with this configuration: One of the genders is static, one of the genders is in flux depending on social situation, one of the genders is in flux depending on something else, and one of the genders alternates between agender and something else). It wouldn't be inconceivable that someone has a gender that can be expressed like that, but obviously it doesn't have a name (as far as I know).

Thank you. My goal is to get people to read the wikia and become more familiar with gender identities, and yes, hopefully learn something.

I think that user is just used to someone blowing a dog whistle whenever they post about gender identities, then they saw the satirical ones on this site and that confirmed it for them.

I honestly am just so in love with this list tho.
