np, the launch soured many people but the full game together is actually one of the better games imo. You understandably can't make up for the lacklustre first impression though.

I think Kirby Right Back At Ya sorta answers the where do they go kinda question. They get sent to a temporary void and spat back out through various means via stars or off-screen lol. Really the enemies that Kirby beat up to death are really super dead, but there's a reason ppl like Dedede or Whispy Woods come back every game

The monsters in the anime are obviously killed but pretty much no one in the games die besides a few of the final bosses. Enemies respawn just by going offscreen. And as you said, most bosses are reoccuring, with important bosses recovering instantly after the battle.

I've been wanting to get Star Allies but I heard the friendly AI trivializes the game. Is that true??

The story mode is really easy but it's supposed to be easy. The game more than makes up for it with 100% (in the free updates) which is actually almost cuphead levels of challenging. The game at launch was pretty easy though. The free updates gave a harder mode and an even harder boss rush with exclusive final bosses.

Get Star Allies. That's the peak of Kirby final bosses so far. It also has the most amount of playable characters due to the Dream Friends.
Super Kirby Clash and Fighters 2 are pretty neat too.

He does have a pocket dimension in his stomach in Squeak Squad (and the anime). He's also able to swallow a few important characters like Bandana Dee and the Squeaks and they appear perfectly fine later.

Also I don't actually think Kirby is confirmed to be a kid in the games. He's a baby in the anime but I think it's just there.

It is actually entirely possible that JRPGs and accessible anime as we know it today wouldnt have existed without him laying the foundation, hence why I respectfully like to refer to him as Weeb Prime.

Hmmm, the above article above has a lot less about him than I recall... Seems I still wasnt able find a detailed history, but this account of how some of the very first subbed anime came to be under AnimeEigo with Robert Woodhead and Roe Adams might shed some light on what I mean. ^_~

Francis Xavier (Saint Xavier) maybe. He was the first Christian missionary to Japan in 1549 and adopted alot of their culture to help spread Catholicism and Christianity. There were European merchants before him though so there most likely a weeb in that mix.

The point is more about how a single character makes the whole game anime. A Hat in Times protagonist has been called that before too. Does that make it an anime game? I dont think shed look out of place in various Disney media either.

This decade is gonna be rough for actors who peaked in the 80s. Still doesn't really feel right that the 80s are now 4 decades ago. So an actor who was my age in the 80s are now hitting their 70s. 80s is where my pop culture knowledge really started so I'm now at the age where I'll know all of the old actors who are dying of old age.

Sometimes to farm Microsoft points I click through movie casts and it's sad seeing nearly everyone who starred in movies from the 60s are now dead.
