Those happen to be the hours I work. For something so essential it's ridiculous they aren't open from like, 7am-10pm and on Saturday. I have to use PTO to get to the DMV.

Yeah, it's like it's specifically made to be as inconvenient as possible.

Dragon Ball fighting games need to find a way to make a single character utilize all forms in a single match. It seems impractical, but i'm sure it can be done.

Like starting the fight as Base Adult Goku. Maybe his super meter correlates to which form Goku is in? But then if he uses his Super combo then he'll revert to Base form which doesn't make sense. Whatever, it's just aesthetic anyway.

Zero Super Bar = Base Form
One Full Bar = SSJ1
Two Full Bars = SSJ2
Three Full Bars = SSJ3

Super Combo install = SSJG
Super Combo install 2 = SSJB
Super Combo install 3 = Ultra Instinct

Base Kid Goku would be his own character though. And he'll get SSJ4 as an install

I'm pretty sure the earlier Budokai games did that, but then Budokai Tenkaichi started the thing where every single form is its own character slot, leading to them making the claim that the game has over 100 playable characters.

USUM is better in every way, except for the story.

USUM butchers SM's story, throwing in the Ultra Space stuff a bit sooner with the Ultra Recon Squad and nukes the characterization of Lusamine to account for the involvement of Necrozma. (Likely due to how she's more benevolent in the anime, so the games decided to follow suit.)

If you don't care about that, then USUM is the way to go.

Japan's cool for a visit (even if I've never been, and likely won't be able to any time soon due to CURRENT WORLD EVENTS), but I doubt I would ever want to live there. Being both a gaijin and Black puts two marks against me.

At most, I would fall in love with a Japanese woman, marry her, and bring her back to the States (or Canada).

tbf Mother 3 should have come out ages ago. I don't even know what a Direct is.

I don't think anything Nintendo of America puts out could live up to the Tomato Fan-Translation. They would probably not use the name "Fassad" for the character, which would be disappointing because "Fassad" fits him perfectly in many ways.

Plus, some of the other more questionable content in the game, as well as rights issues with the music, and the fact that it released on the GBA in 2006, well after Nintendo moved on to the DS ("third pillar" my ass), pretty much secured the game's international release's chances as next-to-zero.
