not even kind of what I said, but I own a car in a city. I have no need to "cross a street on foot".

there definitely have been times in my life when I regularly used crosswalks, but that was before I owned a car. and there have been times when I was regularly a pedestrian walking multiple blocks, but not in quite a few years now, and that had nothing to do with crosswalks.

everyone owns a car in the city, genius. but everyone still walks from shop to shop and uses crosswalks.

"i have no need to cross a street on foot" doesn't even make any sense. you find a perfect parking spot in front of every location and business you've ever gone to?

how the hell does someone go 10 years not encountering a crosswalk, or walk a block or two in a commercial or residential street? what kind of bizarro life do you live, dude?

I'll never understand the "greasier the better" mindset. Also, at this point just eat a pack of pepperoni's, cause that's all you're gonna taste in those bites. Making food where one ingredient overpowers everything else is the opposite of being a good cook.

As someone who pretty much only goes to Neapolitan pizza places nowadays, this was probably the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had

I drive everywhere, as well as order everything and use drive-thrus.

there are some minor exceptions like walking less than a block in a residential area with no sidewalks.

there's only the one really major exception that I can think of where I actually walked a good number of blocks to the store and back with family and friends, but it didn't really involve any crosswalks, or at least none that crossed in the middle of a roadway.

I have to go back decades to think of a time when I would have used a real crosswalk regularly. (if we count traffic lights, then there would have been one I guess on the walk to and from classes at the university).
