It's a hard to answer question. Not all representation should exist especially if the representation is shit.

Disney's Pocahontas is the prime example of it. They were contacted by Virginian reservations to help get the story right and ignored them and shat out a blatantly fake movie based on John Smith's lies he told upon returning to Europe. And it was doubly filled with racist ass "noble savage" shit and they've been trying to make people forget it existed ever since.

hell no im glad they did this as i said they do deserve credit for that

but they also need to be told where they messed up so they can improve

hell another thing they should think about for the sequel is adding a non binary option (they/them pronouns) not just for inclusion but well speaking from experience here it helps expand your writing dialog alot when you write sentences with it

the voice thing its been used to mock transgenders in media for decades since before you where born even

the voice is one of the things a transgender is most sensitive about

this is why alot of transgenders are nervous to even speak to a stranger

im not going to discuss the company stuff yes they should get called out for that and they have been multiple times

i want to just discuss the game

progressive writing is going to make mistakes it happens and those mistakes will get called out

this is not cancel culture or wtv

its teaching people so they can improve

this voice thing calling it out means they can quickly patch in a fix for it and know not to do it next time

not every thing can be the she-ra reboot when it comes to being a progressive work and its not fair to even use it as a bench mark (and even then some people do have issues with it but thats on the subjective side)

im not going to call the people who made the game transphobic ( the execs and such oh fuck yes) ill just call the developement team naive and hope they can use this as a chance to grow and self improve

Why can't people just be happy and play video games? Why do people care about representation? CDPR includes trans people and they're still upset. smh no winning. They didn't have to put them in btw.
