A lot of the times when a song plays I'm like "I know this from somewhere" and it's killing me that I can't remember what. A lot are. I think they started leaning more on this later in the run, and earlier songs just hit the genre tropes hard. Country, klezmer, Disney, etc. With later songs you get more specific parodies like Ed Sheeran, Guys and Dolls, Mama Mia. But I guess there are still some of those in S1. The songs about showers, I remember one of them is a Music Man homage and the other one was supposed to be Les Mis.
