In the pre-covid 1984 Clownworld, it was always fun to go out to a sushi spot with a group of people. There's always the one guy that squirms who is trying to "broaden their horizons".

I used to order sunomono just to fuck with that person. Wanna go "deep"? Let's go deep.

Mmmmm. Tuna. Mmmmm. Salad. I'll eat around the giant chunk of octopus tentacle like "I couldn't possibly eat *that*"...

Then eat THAT with a huge smile.

I don't like any roes, eel, or urchin though. I won't eat dolphin on principle, or squid. the dolphins elephants, and squid are Earth's backup plans the way mammals were the plan B for the saurians.

Other than that, I'll eat various cuts of raw tuna and shellfish all day.

Hell, even bluefish makes a great, if a little greasy and salty sushi if you're out on the boat...but have you ever had a fresh bluefish, egg, and cheese as the sun rises?

Never did the eyeliner thing, that was after my time. I'm from the "trenchcoat mafia" era. The closest I ever got to the MCR aesthetic was black nail polish on my horribly, chewed to nubs nails. NIN, type-o negative, white zombie, early tool and manson...that was my era.

I can build a fire. I have barbecues in my apartment complex. I have camping stoves. As was already said, I have a half dozen other appliances I can cook with in my kitchen. I'm not lugging a sleeve of ice a half km from the gas station down the street everyday to keep most of my food in an igloo cooler at home.

So yes, just in terms of pure inconvenience, the fridge outweighs the stove or microwave in every important respect.

You could also look at it from the angle that nobody is crying for Marvel recuts because most of the movies are passable, and the market is completely flooded with them, whereas DC has tried stepping it's output up, but isn't cranking out the same level of passable movies. The past few have been pretty bad, and there's some small shred of hope that DC can do good work outside of the animations.

The Justice League on some level or another has what, 30-40 years on the Avengers in some form or another in the comics archives? They can't find a cast and a director that actually gets what they're trying to make as a film?

Your party actually tries to use various restorative items to bring them back, to no avail.

yeah, but in that particular case, one can at least make the argument that the really dead, not at all temporarily dead character completely overextended themselves. and stretched their soul too thin to revive or something.

the girl standing knee deep in water getting speared with 3 or 4 party members within earshot should have totally been revived by a simple toss of a Phoenix Down in their general direction and have one land.

fuck, the *next* game in that series had the actual and literal protagonist get impaled thru several major and important organs, and everything that happens afterwards is totally canon and not at all a DMT-death hallucination, no matter how little sense anything that happens after that point is.

Don't get depressed over a number if it doesn't mean anything. Use it as an excuse to eat more vegetables. you can pay it over 3 years. A lot of people have debt like that in their car. I owe $4000 in car debt, I'm not depressed about it.

From what I remember, the Superman Vs Batman movie, with the Snyder cut, is apparently a lot better and made more sense. Never watched the original or the directors cut, because I don't care about superhero movies though.

A "directors cut" would mean the executives and everyone, can give things that they need more airtime and gives plot threads an easier time pulling through. That doesn't mean it's good, though.
It's likely people seeing a diamond in the rough.
