There were a few seasons I used to watch 150 or so games a season, but I can't imagine doing that now. I think the last full season I watched still had Trot Nixon. Those were best times to watch though- Especially the late 90s-early 2000s with Pedro and Schilling. The rivalry was in full swing with the Yankees and you had brawls every now and then (Pedro tossing Zimmer down was pretty shitty I gotta say). There was a great game in... 2003 I think.. where Jeter dove into the stands at Yankee stadium to catch a foul ball while NOMAH sat on the bench like a pussy. Myself and lots of Sox fans gave Jeter a lot of respect for trying so hard like that, while our guy was more concerned with himself than the team. I enjoy the hell out of DQ11 but it is in no way better than DQ8. Almost every single aspect save 11's better graphics and Sylvando DQ8.... crushes. Yangus, Morrie, and Trode are all awesome, the alchemy pot is better than the fun-sized forge (though the forge is indeed fun), the world is put together better, you don't need to inflict draconian challenges on yourself to keep it from being piss easy, etc. And I'm a huge DQ fan. Been playing these games since '88 IIRC. In fact I enjoy 3 and 5 better than 11 too. I'll add that even the 3DS version of 8 is even better than the PS2 game. Way more content. Loads more. DQ11 is great, but it's too long and in the bad way. The pacing is not great.
