The writing intentionally stuck him with that crystal because it's a metaphor for his character. Why would you prefer him to have a generic crystal instead? That's worse writing than what we got. Its stupid that the entire crossguard is based on venting a cracked crystal. Like the badass villain has to workaround rig his light saber to get it to work and thats the story for why it needs a crossguard. And why not a normal, non-cracked one? They had to write a bad back story to why he used a cracked one to the backstory of why he even has a crossguard. --- When it rains, it pours. |
