I know it's funny and all to go "Batman with prep time figures out everything about Link and comes in with exactly what he needs to win", but that's usually not how he operates. Generally he'll go pick a skirmish, observe what he's up against, *then* come back with what he needs to beat you. So it's a matter of whether Link beats him on the first go, or lets him be Batman and get away to win a stomp second fight

I almost mentioned before that Jojo is complete nonsense with a ton of wild, random powers flying all over the place that the heroes somehow always find a way around. It's really hard to vote against Giorno against people like Elizabeth because "somebody who can summon tornadoes and materialize weapons" feels exactly like a mid-late season antagonist who ends up jobbing to the hero.

I try not to take this into consideration, but there's only so much I can do when this is the unofficial motto of the series:

I was going off of Elizabeth as she acts as your partner throughout the story. I forgot about all of the nonsense she has later

That's not exactly true. A Stand that created a mirror universe was shown able to separate users from their Stands. However, Elizabeth doing it is suspect because A: it was implied the ability to separate users and stands was an inherent quality of the mirror universe and B. the mirror guy could separate people without needing to get close to them. Even if she could throw Giorno into a portal and separate him from GE that way, she would need to beat Giorno's reaction time which isn't guaranteed- if she wasn't fast enough he could easily recall GE to him or get out of the way of the portal.

I was taking that as part of the properties of the mirror world. I was treating it like SBR's alt universes, which canonically don't remove the Stands of people when changing worlds in general (and I doubt you could bring a person but not their stand)
