But the thing is, felony murder is bullshit. It makes murderers out of people who are not actually killers.
Felony murder lets prosecutors charge people with murder if someone dies, even by accident, if they were committing a dangerous felony at the time of the death. The underlying felony has to be dangerous enough that someone dying, even by accident, was foreseeable.
A common application of felony murder is when a group of people plan a robbery and someone dies. Even if the death is accidental or one of the perpetrators is killed by a cop. It doesn't matter what role you played in the underlying felony, or even if anyone was armed.

Because the crimes were committed in DC, federal law applies. The federal felony murder rule, found at 18 U.S. Code 1111, says people can be charged with murder if they:
"committed in the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate, any arson, escape, murder, kidnapping, treason, espionage, sabotage, aggravated sexual abuse or sexual abuse, child abuse, burglary, or robbery; or perpetrated as part of a pattern or practice of assault or torture against a child or children; or perpetrated from a premeditated design unlawfully and maliciously to effect the death of any human being other than him who is killed, is murder in the first degree."
Armed insurrection, riots, and terrorism are, for whatever reason, not on the list.
That doesn't mean it would be impossible for anyone to be charged with felony murder, though. According to former federal prosecutor Tim Heaphy,
"You could look at the storming of the doors of the Capitol by that riotous mob as burglary. If they went in with the intent to steal, disrupt proceedings, to commit other offenses, they committed burglary. And, therefore, a murder that occurred during the course of a burglary could be potentially charged as felony murder."

There is no 3rd degree murder in either the US Criminal Code or the D.C. Criminal Code.

In addition, the felony murder rule may apply, kicking this back up to 1st degree murder.

So were the four guys who came up with a January 6 event #DoNotCertify and it was to build momentum and pressure, and then on the day change hearts and minds of congress peoples who werent yet decided, or saw everyone outside and said, I cant be on the other side of that mob, Alexander said in a livestream on Dec. 29.

Some deserve more than others. Some are simply the worst kind of fool, easily swayed or confused because of their present state of belonging. I'd say get the latter some help, because they will need it, and bring down the ringleaders of this entire mess.

They don't have to be in court for a pardon to go in effect. If they were arrested then they can be pardoned.

I don't believe you know what a veto does. A veto does not stop a bill. A veto causes a bill to require a higher vote count to pass. Even with Trump's veto, there was enough votes to pass the $600 instead of the $2000, so him vetoing it didn't matter. Trump actually red-lined the bill and handed it back, but it was ignored because again, there were enough votes to ignore it.

The president isn't all-powerful. You're free to hate on Trump as much as you want but you should also have at least a slim understanding of how our government works and what actually happened.

I have to wonder how they'd make that kind of a discovery at all. Oo Were they just looking through peoples' stools in the first place? Or did they suspect that was a possibility so they ran a study where they fed people tainted fish?

The inevitable has happened. Microplastics have already been found in birds and fish and whales, so it should have come as no surprise that they have now been discovered in humans. To be specific but indelicate, tiny plastic particles and fibers have been found in the stool of eight people who provided samples as part of a pilot study.
This news confirms the predictions of researchers who have tracked microplastics to remote locations, and identified these tiny particles in drinking water, beer, table salt, and seafood. But the implications in this particular case remain unclear.

The study involved three men and five women, aged 33 to 65, from seven different European countries and Japan. Participants kept a food diary for a week and then provided a stool sample for testing. All stool samples tested positive for plastic.
The diaries also provided information about potential sources of the plastics. Two of the eight participants chewed gum daily. Six ate seafood. Over the course of the week, they all consumed food that had been wrapped in plastic. On average, participants drank about 25 ounces of water daily from bottles made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate, the material widely used to make plastic bottles.)
Schwabl cautioned that the study is too small to draw conclusions about individual factors, such as the chewing gum or fish or the participants' household routines or where they lived.
The Environmental Agency in Austria tested the stool samples for 10 different types of plastic. They found nine of them, most commonly PET and polypropylene (PP), a common component of plastic food wrappers and synthetic clothes.
In terms of quantity, the stool samples contained, on average, 20 particles of plastic, ranging in size from 50 to 500 micrometers. (For comparison, a human hair is about 100 micrometers thick.)
