I'd argue that Twitter itself is probably the biggest threat to American democracy. Because it tends to give everyone the sense of entitlement and belief that their personal views should be heard and the arrogance to assume they're universally important, without the "informed and educated" part that is actually supposed to go hand in hand with the idea of democracy.

Or to put it another way, it tends to encourage the selfish desire for all of the benefits of democracy without any of the responsibilities of democracy.

Yeah but you're missing the point. Botw isn't an rpg. And yes, skyrim is packed to the brim with tons of sidequests and boring, repetitive dungeons. I like skyrim but its got problems. It's buggy, sidequests are repetitive, dungeons are repetitive

Botw is a more polished experience and the content that's there isn't mostly filler

I heard a rumor that online play will no longer be a cost on xbox next gen, so that could be a boon for them if true. If they get rid of paying to play online and do full bc with all Xbox games both physical and digital, I think they'd have a very strong console that'd just need some all important exclusives.

The game industry overall is notorious for underpaying and overworking their employees. It's messed up, but as long as these companies are publicly traded and starry-eyed newcomers keep lining up for video game work I don't expect things to change for the better.
