Why would I continue wasting time on video games when I have all the money in the world? I'd go on a neverending trip around the world.

My friends and I got a ton of mileage out of a similar game on the DS back in high school.

If you don't start Mudkip there's a reason to.

Gen 3 had all around great starters so there wasn't a bad choice.

Swampert is probably the single best starter there has ever been (as far as in-game utility goes). Not picking Mudkip is basically handicapping yourself in a Gen 3 playthrough (except for maybe Emerald since the champion doesn't use Steel-types any more).

I used Whiscash once in Emerald and it was actually pretty OP for in game purposes. Mildly bulky and has access to Earthquake. Plus Water/Ground is a pretty strong combo.

Absolutely no reason to use it when Swampert exists in the same generation though.

The base game is fun but I've never played any expansions.

Don't get this take, it's just as smooth, if not smoother, than any other action/adventure game out there. It's not as technical as like Dark Souls but it's also not trying to be.

Eh, I guess I'm more used to Arkham-style combat. I enjoyed the combat in, say, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor much more than in Witcher 3.

I played it for a few hours but the clunky combat absolutely ruined it for me.

It's always been an extremely niche genre.

Is the pokemon's world geographically the same as our own?

Even putting that aside I dont see who'd benefit from magmas plan aside from ground, rock, and maybe grass types. But even that's better then aquas where only water types would benefit.

From what we've seen so far, it almost entirely is. Gens 1 through 4 are copypastes of parts of Japan, Gen 6 is France, Gen 7 is Hawaii, and Gen 8 is the UK. Gen 5 is the only generation with a region that seems to have an original map layout.

This is a good bet. It's basically a skyrim clone. Very basic gameplay. More like a VN but with battles.

...What? How is South Park: Stick of Truth a Skyrim clone? It's a turn-based RPG. If anything, it's a Paper Mario clone.

It happened more than 3 years ago, so I don't remember the exact taste of it, but it was absolutely vile.

Backstory: At the time, I was living in Ireland for 6 months for an internship. Rented a room in an old Irish lady's house. She was eating it one day when I walked into the kitchen to get a drink, and she asked if I wanted to try it. I didn't want to be rude, so I regretfully accepted. Luckily she wasn't mad that I hated it. IIRC she said it's an acquired taste.
