I remember playing a zombie apocalypse board game once where one player was a saboteur, and the others could vote them out. They decided it was me and I got voted out and had to survive on my own.

I was just bad at the game :(

Dont worry. Everyone is bad at that game. The last time I played we lost on the last persons turn. Like, the victory was assured, and two bad rolls on the last players turn of the last round, boom. Lost.

On the plus side getting exiled when you arent the betrayer is kinda fun. Get to go be all sketchy and freak everyone out.

A lot of people have trouble sleeping due to racing thoughts. My strategy has always been to have something to think about that isn't stressful. Typically a hobby or video game. For instance, when I was playing bloodbourne, I would go through all the maps in my head. Id been through them so many times I could just follow the routes through them. Lately Ive been thinking about the tabletop role playing game that I play. Just think about character options and plan out how to move forward. Of course it helps to have enough information about something to be able to just lay there and think about it, but its usually pretty effective. Trying to not think about things is a losing strategy, so you just need to fill that space.

Its always going to be hard at this point in the competition, but for this one it came down to who would I finish inside of... for the sake of humanity...

I loved it and hated it. I would always try to end a session immediately after one of the ridiculous gun play maze parts. If they were cut entirely, I would have finished it. Im bummed out about it.

Like anyone actually believes she listens to rap or any current music for that matter, and isn't just repeating a name she heard in the news.

There was probably a focus group and it was determined that liking their music was the least divisive and would poll the best. Probably even has a consultant for this kind of thing.

I agree. It also could have been big in certain environments even before streaming took hold. My first thought was college dorms would be great for it. Really any environment with a big pool of players.

It it does look like a lot of fun, but theres no way Id be able to coordinate ten people I know to play, and thats the only way Id be willing to do it.

thats what his own attorney is saying happened at least, and thats whats shown in the clips the attorney included. If something happened between the trash can fire and the parking lot, its probably not favorable to Rittenhouse, otherwise the attorney would have included it.

And if a dispatcher sent them to the wrong home I don't exacly feel comfortable just throwing the guys exercising the warrant to the apartment that they were told to go to under the bus for this tragedy.

What you do have here is a department that immediately tried to cover their ass for this fuck up. It's gross and someone should be held accountable in some form or fashion for what happened to this girl.

Im gonna be real. I havent followed this terribly closely, but I have a coworker who has and justifies the polices actions (also hes black but I dont know if that matters) and this is what he told me:

According to him, theres a (~)48 page record online about the investigation that was conducted on Breonnas boyfriend and it tied her to drug trade with not only this boyfriend but with another boyfriend who was also selling drugs. Apparently, according to this report, Breonna was a habitual criminal and even has a record of having a dead body found in a car she had rented.

On the day that she was killed, apparently the cops had a no-knock warrant, but knocked anyway and announced their presence which prompted the boyfriend to begin firing through the door. The cops returned fire through the door in self-defense and Breonna was in the hallway and got hit.

I havent done my research so I dont know how accurate this all is, and keep in mind that he still doesnt think it was a positive thing that Breonna was killed, but he defends the polices action because they were defending themselves (basically, you know whats can happen if you fire or associate with people who fire on the police) and considers Breonnas death to be unfortunate collateral damage.

That is a pretty accurate synopsis, but I think they busted down the door after announcing themselves and before the shooting started. Frankly its bizarre how many different accounts are coming out of this case.

He referred to himself as an EMT in the released footage when trying to find people who were injured. As far as I can tell, he is not. He has first aid training to some degree or another due to being a lifeguard, but Im not certain what degree of training that is.

Its like the least important point in this topic, though.

Yup. As I recall, he was walking towards KR with the gun out, but his hands up, walking slowly and trying to deescalate, and Kyle shot him in the arm. There's enough of an argument for either side on whether the shooting was justified.

It has some footage of it. The argument made in the video is that he initially had his hands up and then rushed him. It also goes into some things he said to a friend about wishing he hadnt hesitated and just blown him away. Im not sure if the available footage can say one way or another, but the secondhand comments from his friends seem a bit beside the point and were clearly only included to paint them in a bad light.

It was put out by his defense either today or yesterday. YouTube buried it hard. It seems to synch up well with what the New York Times put out, but has a bit more detail, including the identity of the person who shot first.

In my opinion it lays it on pretty thick, with the music and the listing of prior charges by all of the people involved. This will probably create a lot of tension.

That was never the argument. The person he shot needed to be shot in that moment. The argument is if the shooter intentionally orchestrated being put in the situation that would require him to shoot someone.

So you would have about 70 or 80 years between each day. Good luck keeping up with what the hell is going on. It would be like 3000 years until Election Day for you.
