The reason here is easy to explain.

I'm town, I've actually been engaged in the way town red usually is when I'm hyped up.

I know when I'm scum and struggle to engage, or when I'm loose scum and post something obviously stupid.

None of me aligns with what I'd do as scum and if you think I'm literally scum when I know I've been at maximum town. Well, I don't know what to tell you but shake my head at that point.

Not true. The ruling was his powers have limits, but that his emergency powers for dealing with the Pandemic were upheld to be lawful.

Nothing regarding our past or current stay at home orders were found to he unlawful in the recent ruling I am assuming you were referring to. It basically was a "stop using these powers for laws not impacted by the virus" ruling.

Activists (what I think you mean by "the left") did a great job of making what they want clear. It's the role of politicians to interpret policy in good faith and campaign on it in ways that voters will accept. They did not do this - likely because they do not actually like the popular parts of the policy either. Even Bernie wanted to increase police funding.

I keep seeing this take that wahhhh the politicians couldn't frame it right. As if politicians are responsible for all the local news coverage of thousands of signs saying defund the police nightly for months.

You have to understand voters will never understand things beyond a surface level.

If you try to tell them "defund the police means x," they aren't going to understand anything beyond defund the police. The average person simply doesn't want to have to care that much about politics.

Ehh the narrative change is working. Trump protests across the country have been consistently getting smaller. The risk of civil unrest has shrunk dramatically. It has begun to sink in to a lot of these people that at the very least they don't have a leg to stand on in the court of public opinion.

Possible, but there is also advantage to forcing the other side to dedicate resources too, which you could argue is better than just giving up. The Trump campaign was broke, literally leaving supporters out in the cold because they couldn't afford better options.

When they allowed themselves to be turned into the party of Trump they lost the ability to speak up to Trump.
