Not being able to jump in these games has always felt super fucking awkward to me.

I mean, jump is a basic ass function that goes back to the NES days and in my favorite game, Dynasty Warriors 3, it's a pretty damn important combat tool.

I've never liked when the crossovers shifted away from it. Cement shoes feels awful and I not only miss the jump attacks themselves, but being able to jump down from a ledge on a pile of enemies.

Context jumping has mostly been shitty aside from a handful of games; some of them use it well.

The air combos in the first three Pirate Warriors games were alright, but they really didn't do it for me.

The Berserk game suffered from a lot of issues, but having a jump attack would've expanded the limited combat quite a bit. I really wish that game was much better than it was :(

I only took it initially because I thought the tentacle arm was cool enough.

The fact that it gives you an extra stat point for every point you invest in it is insane.

Still a great game overall, but a few things have disappointed me a bit:

• No dying armors anymore, even though dyes are still in the game
• Weapon elements look so weak and shitty now. A complete downgrade
• Overall world design. OS1 felt more classic to me
• Combat changes are meh. I like the dual armor system, as I think that's rather clever. Not a fan of the limited AP.

That said, I'm still on Act 1. Maybe by the time I finish the game, I'll have ended up enjoying it more than OS1.

Polymorphism is fucking cool as shit though. My dude is literally Red Bull the character and it's kickass.

Let's be real. The reason user reviews don't exist is because Steambabies would tank it regardless of the quality of the store itself. They may arrive at some point, but it would be shooting themselves in the foot to include them right now. It's something they should have, but that's less their fault that they don't.

The tags on Steam are fucking trash. You can find multiple top-down RTS/TBS games with the "action" tag FFS.

Epic has sales as well, including but not limited to their free weekly games.

That's great you enjoy a community. As someone who's primarily singleplayer and has never needed to fuck with another person outside of couch co-op back in the day, I spend most of Steam-time in offline. I'm sure I'm hardly the only one.

Guess what, mods work just fine and are as easy to install without Steam integration.

I actually liked Shadowheart quite a bit.

I don't think she's as awful as people make her out to be. She's very much a primarily support character, although there are spots where she can contribute offensively. Guiding bolt is stupid good and she tends to hit with her melee more often than the given percentages would lead you to believe. She's vulnerable to attacks of opportunity, but I found an item that grants her Misty Step. That was great for letting her run up and sneak an attack, and then she could safely teleport away.

Warlock is super fun and stupid good.

Ranger seems decent based on what I've played, but I don't have a lot of time with the class.

Businesses can literally charge you for anything they want.

If they feel like you owe them for enjoying their A/C, they can put it on your bill as a "convenience fee" if they wanted.

More power to them. It's their choice and diners aren't typically where you'd go to eat on a budget anyways. No one's forcing you to do anything.

Yes. It's still in its early stages, but it's there for every companion.

Except for Wyll. He died in my first playthrough, but given the way the romance convos are laid our, I presume it's there for him too.

I'm finally getting around to end of EA. Cleared everything on the surface to my knowledge(I took extra time to make sure no nooks and crannies were left unturned and I actually found a few hidden chests as well as some enemies I hadn't discovered yet!).

Just now started the Underdark. Even this place looks massive.

According to GOG Galaxy, I have 41 hours in the game on primarily one playthrough. I've gotten as far as the druid grove with a second and am in the middle of the first ruins on the third.

I imagine the time it would take to experience not necessarily every possible outcome but just multiple, in this build, would put me at well over 70 hours.

What a damn good time. That said, I might wait until the next big update to play anything but my second party.

When it's cleaned up a bit, this game will really be something else.
