I liked James and Mike Mondays but for a while it's basically just been Mike over-explaining a game while James fumbles through it. Like it feels like James forgot how to play video games. Even the games from the era that he grew up with.

I'm glad real Monster Madness will be back.

James definitely hasn't seemed like a person who plays a lot of video games in his spare time these last several years.

His real passion is film.

The over the top outburst are what make his streams worth watching to me.

Mike is the closest thing to me watching a streamer because I actually kinda like him. Most streamers I follow just because I'm morbidly fascinated by/like to laugh at them, like WingsofRedemption, and DSP.

My Grandpa died last night from lung cancer.

He suspected he had cancer, but kept it secret for a year, and only went to the hospital when he couldn't hide it anymore. That was, at most, 3 weeks ago.

We're gonna be haunted by the idea that maybe it didn't have to go down this way if he only spoke up and went to the doctor.

I'll tell you this.

After seeing firsthand what terminal cancer reduces you to, I'd get my affairs in order and then commit suicide rather than ride it out to the end.

People in that situation ought to be legally allowed to be euthanized if they choose to.

Same, except it's my stepmom, and they won't let me in to see her.

He's been in the hospital, but they let him come home the other night.

As soul crushing as it is to watch him die, we'll take care of him until the bitter end. We owe him that.

He's in the hospital and they think it's Tuberculosis. He's gonna have to be locked down in there for months most likely.

My mom had Covid and she got out of the hospital in a week.

A family member is in the hospital, and they think he has tuberculosis. We're all gonna have to get tested now.

This fucking sucks.

Even if he makes a full recovery, it will likely take months, and he can't be with us for the holidays. We can't even visit him.
