While Laura is the better waifu on her own, her scenes with Rean are not that exciting.

Like I did her first bonding event in CS3. Time for a nice chat at the pool. This will be cute. Except once again it's just "I have a long ways to go", "my sword this", "your sword that". It's always about swords.

So how much better do you think the Cold Steel series would have been if they had written it with Rean/Alisa as canon. Like I know she's not everyone's favorite but I think one strong romance would have been really awesome instead of spreading it too thin.

From what I've seen, in solo you only kill small slimes. In co op they are replaced by large cryo slimes and whopperflowers. So doing co op seems insane to me.

It's an ATB system, where auto attacks are happening while the ATB is charging instead of everyone just standing around. The fights only progress upon spending ATB unless it's against the most basic Shinra soliders.

There is an entire Classic Mode where you do not control attacks and dodges, you're just waiting and spending ATB.

Bennett is probably the best healer you can pair with Childe. That's a really solid core.

Good supports will be:
-Sucrose for grouping enemies and VV.
-Mona for burst and energy regen.
-Fischl/Beidou for Electro-charge comp
-Xiangling for resonance with Bennett and Vape comp.

Basically invest heavily on Childe and Bennett and all these other units can flex depending on the content. Ascension 4, level 4 Talents, +8 Artifacts should be enough for them. If you can get more, that's gravy. However, what I've seen is that you do need someone strong to fill the downtime on Childe's melee. So maybe you will need at least one support with high investment.

My only other tip is to try and clear 12-2 with everyone's burst ready. 12-2 is one of those chambers were you have to defend a statue. You are not timed. So when you're down to the last enemy and have it under control, take your time and try to generate as much energy as possible.

Razor is all +20 with level 90 Skyward Pride. He's the only one fully built. 1900 Atk, 45% Crit Rate, 110% Crit Damage and about 88% Physical bonus. And 6 Constellations thanks to Zhongli Banner. All Talents at +8 or higher.

Diluc has +16 and a couple +12. Level 80 Prototype. Level 6 talents.

Jean has +16 all around, level 80 Flute, level 7 Talents.

Qiqi has +20 feather, some +16 and some +0. Level 80 Rancour. Level 7 Talents.

Everyone else has a mix of +0, +8 or +12 artifacts with whatever substats. Level 50-60 weapons. Level 4 Talents mostly.

Got 4 stars. There's still a lot of optimizing to do but it will take time. I am down to just 6 Fragile resin.

Also forget optimizing offensive stats on your supports. Your carry will take care of everything. Your supports just need as much HP and Energy Recharge as possible.

I'm still in awe at Bennett how much he supports with so little.

Abyss 12-3 beated finally. Diona and Bennett were so clutch. Final teams:

Diluc - 70 - Crimson Witch 4pc
Jean - 80 - VV 4pc
Xiangling - 60 - Noblesse 4pc
Diona - 40 - 2 pc Glad + 2 pc Maiden

Diona just needed to break Electro Fatui shields but her own cryo shield gave so much survivability to this team. Her artifacts were just a mix of what I had leveled uo fir Traveler and Barbara because I had nothing else to give her.

Razor - 90 - Gladiator 4pc
Qiqi - 80 - Maiden 4pc
Fischl - 70 - 2pc Thundering Fury + 2pc Troupe
Bennett - 40 - Noblesse 4pc

The damage you receive in this room is insane. You have the icicles falling and no stamina. Razor's numbers are huge, but it means nothing when you can get stunlocked and die. So Qiqi and Bennett were amazing at keeping him alive to kill everything. Qiqi ended up dying, but Bennett was amazing on his own anyway.

Now to see how and if the meta changes with the new Abyss coming up.

i feel like superconduct is only super value if you heavily invest into a physical build. which is really worth doing on like razor (who gains extremely noticeable bonuses to his autoattack capabilities over other characters), but i don't think i'd do it on xinyan main dps

Well Xinyan only has a Pyro attack every 15 secs. Her burst is Physical with like 400% multiplier. The Pyro DoT is minimal. She is not worth building around Pyro reactions and damage if she's main. She would need the constellations that give her a level 3 Shield after Burst to consider her for Pyro, and even then, her Talents and other constellations buff Physical attacks and debuff enemies Phys resistance.

Xinyan would benefit more from superconduct than vaporize. But Hydro support would certainly help her against fire resistant enemies and shields. So Xingqiu for now and save for Ganyu?

Diluc/Jean/Xiangling/Diona took care of their side of 12-3. Really hard but I finally got the hang of it. And pretty decent energy regen.

Razor/Qiqi/Fischl/Xinyan however is really bad. First Fischl is too squishy and need to work on that. And then... I'll just have to concede and sub Xinyan for Bennett. The Cryo Fatui are the problem on this side.

Barbara's wet status is a problem.

But yeah, it's not fair to compare Jean and Qiqi's damage. Jean has like double the multipliers and the dps of her Skill is like one of the highest with that short CD.

I'm hoping I can get a Sacrificial Sword for Qiqi so that 30s CD can be less of a pain.

If you're set on using those four characters, I'd say make Xiangling the carry. Have Qiqi and Fischl just to use their skills to keep up superconduct and generating particles to boost Crescent Pike damage. Noelle I have no idea how to make her fit without Geo resonance. Maybe as a second dps/support mainly to bust shields with her Claymore, idk.

Got the fabled Crit Rate Gladiator Helmet for Razor, with Crit DMG rolls. Sadly no Atk% at all, just some Flat Atk, EM, and DEf. But this is as good as it's gonna get.
