Just started using a coinbase account a week or so ago and they do charge a fee per transaction. Like 1.99 usually and they say coinbase pro doesn't have fees but it's a whole other exchange and I can't be bothered to transfer after the ID verification and all that stuff. From my knowledge, You don't have to verify again once you verify with Coinbase. Once you have a Coinbase account you automatically have Coinbase Pro as well

Coinbase Pro fees are 0.5% instead of 3% so that means if you buy $100 worth of Crypto, your fee will only be 50 cents. As opposed to coinase where you'll probably be eating $3 everytime you make a trade or purchase.

The fees add up very very fast as well its worth it to use Coinbase Pro

Yes but that's the risk you take when investing into it

That's why the main question was do you need the money you just invested. If you could take the loss then you're better off holding it and waiting than selling

It was a big learning experience.

The main thing is if you would have sold at the loss you would not have had the opportunity to get your money back.

Buy holding at least you were able to get out once it went back up again.

Bitcoin is like the most stable of the Cryptocurrencies so if you ever feel you need to transfer an alt to keep your gains the main thing to transfer it to is BTC. That's also why I think BTC rose soon after DOGE rose the last time it pumped. People were exchanging their DOGE for BTC once it hit the top

Here's a quick explanation.

It's Bitcoin with strong privacy features. Users can choose if they want to send a private or public transaction.

It has the same max supply as Bitcoin (21,000,000). And all ZCash coins will be mined around 2032.

The max supply of it cannot be increased or decreased.

All these other coins that are booming and busting they have max Supplys of 100 Million+, 10 Billion+, even 100 Billion+

And with many of them, the project owners can change the supply of the coins. Essentially making it a fiat Cryptocurrency. ZCash has a max cap just like Bitcoin.

Now imagine if Bitcoin really takes off and becomes a world staple. However you'll still have the everyday person wanting to make quick transanctions that are private. They won't want people to be able to easily look up how much money they have in their wallet, or how they've been spending and who they've been spending it with. This is why projects like ZCash will be extremely valuable in the future.

Combined with the fact that there is only a 21 Million Max supply, per coin each coin can easily make it to the tens of thousands in valuation.

When it first released, it was actually 5,000 per coin. But quickly dropped. Currently it's only $95 per coin. Very very cheap and good buy. It may never be this inexpensive again if this Crypto bull run really takes off

Mali collapsed due to competing factions of people who were vying for the crown. Different sons of the King who felt they had claim to the throne after the King passed. They were disunited amongst themselves which led to civil wars and due to the turmoil the Songhai were able to take them over.

The Songhai had similar issues late in their reign and then in ther end they were defeated by the Moroccans once the Moroccans came with gunpowder and guns they received by the Europeans

I felt the same way have a Litecoin I mined in 2013 that I've been hanging on too. If it was BTC I'd probably have a few thousands.

Stay away from regular coinbase. Extortionate transaction fees. Haven't tried pro but it hasn't got great reviews on the app store

Binance is good.

Coinbase pro has only 0.5 percent fees much better than regular which has crazy fees

I'd say XRP because if it's relation with the banking system and ZCash and other coins with low max supply (Dash) can have great potential in the future. Those are potential moonshots

ZCash has a max supply of 21 Million which will be fully mined by 2032.

It has a strong development team behind it as well as private transactions. In the future it's not a stretch that it could potentially reach 10s of Thousands per coin

This video is what gave me these ideas on the Cryptos I made earlier

DASH is still low it hasn't popped yet. ZCash is also a great investment imo. Relatively low. Litecoin is also relatively low and a good investment. Monero (XMR) is also great, the most private privacy coin, and very low price relatively. It's the same price as Litecoin right now.

ADA and XLM are relatively low and could have a very good February. XRP is also just about ready to lift off.

Those coins have very high max supplies though and more volatile imo. Coins with Low and Permanent Max Supply, Public Blockchain Ledgers (Verifiable by public) and even those with private transaction features may be very valuable in the future long term.

Bitcoin is the primary coin you should invest in if you have a decent amount of money to invest. Then once you have a comfortable amount you can go aggressively in other coins.

If I had no Crypto currency right now and was looking to invest right now and was looking long term I'd invest in.

1. Bitcoin - 70%
2. Ethereum - 20%
3. XMR - 5%
4. ZCash - 1%
5. Litecoin - 1%
6. Dash or Bitcoin Cash - 1%
7. Cardano or Tron - 1%
8. XLM or XRP - 1%

Theres other coins that may have way sharper increases in this cycle, but there's no surety that they'll have longevity. They may rise then fall quickly. Bitcoin is a sure thing if crypto is here to stay. And Ethereum and XMR should be here to stay too

The only issue with XMR is some exchanges may not support it since it is private and there's a negative connotation with that in terms of government regulation.

If you feel you don't want to deal with that type of hassle you can switch it for Litecoin.

For the short term,

More Ethereum is good

XMR, ZCash, Dash and Bitcoin Cash also have the potential to reach $1000 per coin or more in the future, possibly even this cycle.

ZCash, Dash and Bitcoin Cash have all been above $1000 before and all have very low Max Supplys.

Right now they are $138, $85, $103, $450 respectively.

Dash has an even lower Max Supply than Bitcoin itself.

Tron is also very cheap right now 3 cents, and has the potentially to go up high as well. Cheap version of Ethereum with way lesser fees and its price hasn't risen yet. All time high is 30 cents

XRP is similar to XLM in that it provides instant transactions. It's like a Cryptocurrency that bridges banking institutions to the Crypto world and ecosystem. Recently the SEC took a lawsuit out on Ripple the company that makes XRP because they had deemed that it was a security and that they were selling unregistered securities causing exchanges to delist it from their platforms, which resulted in the price falling heavy. But most people in the Crypto world feel its been unfairly targeted and that you cant call XRP a security without calling other cryptocurrencies securities like Ethereum.

So in protest those who support XRP around the world are buying and holding their XRP on February 1st 8:30 AM. Learned this info from Crypto news outlets I follow

Is Binance available for you in Australia?

I've heard that XLM to DOGE hasn't been available recently so I'm unsure.
