If you can't afford your rent now and no stimulus checks come, than by the end of the year these people will owe thousands of dollars to their renters and still be forced to be evicted anyways. This really only pushes out the problem while also making the situation worse. I don't know what can fix this, but this bill won't be it.

That's not true, I've seen many interrogations play out with the officer offering subway/mcdonalds/burgerking/ as an interrogation technique used to soften the suspect. It's really only used when the person appears like they haven't eaten in awhile. I've seen stone cold killers offered drinks from vending machines. Race really has nothing to do with it.

Bad cops will be bad cops from the street level all the way up to the DA level. Good cops use traditional techniques (including the use of "Being Human" as one of their tools in interrogation rooms) to get confessions. Bad cops get "confessions" one way or another, regardless of what stands in their way.

Never have "Free Range" Ferrets. I let mine out once in the morning and once in the late evening when my wife gets home from work to run around and have fun. He spends about an hour out of his cage and he goes back in. If he indicates he wants to poop (by lifting up his tail and backing up to a wall or corner), I just pick him up and put him back in his cage until he's done. Then he's good to play for at least the full hour!

I think i'm disgruntled because I was a manager at a pet chain for 7 years, and a frequent task was cleaning out the ferret cage twice daily. With 6-7 of them in there at once it piled up very fast, and the smell really sticks with you lol. My years of experience with them is basically cleaning their poop piles, and lots of people wanting to hold them while never buying them.

That's probably why I chose to never work at a pizza chain. I'd hate to have my favorite food ruined for me. Sounds like that pet store ruined ferrets for you :(

I love ferrets, they're so cute. I haven't owned one but a friend from 10 years ago had 3 of them. I loved playing with them because they were so sweet, I'd bring them toys when i could. I recently got to hold two babies, a male and female.

If i didn't have a cat and a bigger place, I'd love to get two of them.

I wouldn't mind getting a 2nd one, knowing that mine would have a blast with a buddy, but my wife thinks that will affect Squirrel's personality. He's not much of a biter and his play is fairly controlled compared to other ferrets. She thinks he'll pick up bad habits from the 2nd ferret. This is my first ferret, but this is like her 6th or 7th, so I guess she'd know more than me about them at this point.

They are smelly because they have a musk. This musk gland can be removed after birth (around the same time they get fixed), but the smell never truly goes away.

We wash our ferret with Dawn dish soap every 2 weeks to keep his fur fluffy and him smelling awesome! If you do this, they will NEVER stink. Also, you just change the cage every few days. No different from a snake or whatever.

Squirrel is also addicted to knocking over empty soda cans and drinking them.

Now, my father-in-law also has a few ferrets and one of them he got addicted to drinking bud light.

The ferret will come out and Dad will pour a little on the table for him. Before you know it, the ferret (named after the father in law, Mike) will knock over the empties, drain the last of the beer out of them, then you'll see him roll off the couch or table with a thud! and he'll drunkily go and take a nap somewhere.

This one is pretty adorable. He loves playing and being thrown over a small distance into a stack of pillows or blankets. it makes him pop out of the blankets and do this really crazy war dance. Then he thinks he's sneaking up on me while I'm at the computer and I'll turn around and try to pet or scratch him, but he'll just bounce away. If you sneak up on him while he's sleeping, you can actually pick him up and he'll stay asleep. Petting his little fuzzy ears makes him yawn every time. In fact, he gets a little annoyed with the forced yawning after awhile and he'll start pushing you away with his T-Rex-like tiny hands. He's pretty adorable. His name is Squirrel and he's fascinated with shiny things (he'll take my keys) or wrappers (the crinklier, the better). He's got brown and white stripes on him with a bit of grey. Does anyone else have any ferrets or want to share their ferret experiences?

After having one, I kind of want a stout now, or maybe a mink.
