The homeless community isnt a pretty painted picture of the wheelchair veteran standing in front of a business. Its plagued with mental illness and narcotic use. I am leaving patrol by the end of the year to move to a specialized unit that is basically homeless liaison. No arrests or citations, just helping the homeless get resources.
