Once upon a time, like college-era, I probably got their food at minimum once a week, if not more. >_> Over time it's become much more rare, so the revamp probably doesn't change that. Just kind of lost my taste for it, although I see they did cut some stuff I liked. Probably will still get it every few months (just did the other day, actually, for the XBox thing, but the cups they gave us didn't have the code on them).

Definitely, but it goes both ways--plenty of normal, every day Americans are Biden supporters, but Trump and some republicans act like only radical leftists that are looting and rioting are voting for him.

But yeah IRL I'm not waving a Biden flag or anything. I live in a very red area, in 2016 I voted third party, and this cycle I've pretty much been saying "they both suck, I'm not supporting a lesser of two evils" but I voted for Biden.

It sucks to be in that position. I don't really deal with that but my wife works somewhere that has a lot of people who have been there quite a while, and some point before my wife was hired in they restructured time off so it doesn't get as crazy for new people, but they grandfathered in everyone who was already working there and had earned it, so a bunch of people have 8-10 weeks off a year, and my wife has I think 2 or maybe 3 at the moment, but will max out at like 4.

Yeah. Biden has a very good shot at snagging all three of the rust belt states that put Trump in the White House (Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania), and even if he misses one of of those, he probably gets some combination of Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina. And that's not even figuring a few states that have been moved to toss up that previously were red, like Ohio etc.

Like I would be pleasantly surprised if Biden won Ohio and Texas, but he doesn't need to and hopefully him being close there is going to drain Trump's resources elsewhere even if he doesn't win them.

It definitely does. I thought he was taking it more serious until that comment. Then again, I only watch his youtube videos and I might of projected that onto him, cause I usually find him level headed under his persona. It's depressing when people I think are better are proving me wrong. More so my family. But my family respects my decision when I drop harsh standards for myself on them. I watch my nieces for my sister all the time. And I straight up told her, "Just remember, if you send -niece- to school, you lose me as an option". She already works at a bar and exposes me far more than anyone else I hang with. If she starts doubling down, that bridge is burned and Ill rebuild it after. She's lucky I love my nieces so much to begin with. I'm not gonna show it, but that would be such a huge blow to my mental health in this.

I can't say its literally the worst thing because obviously people dying is, but for me personally as I've been fortunate enough to only know people one person removed from me who have been very sick or died (relatives of friends, etc), the worst thing about all this is seeing how incredibly stupid/selfish/ignorant/whatever negative thing so many friends and family members are. :(

I'm excessively elderly so was out of high school--going to start college in a couple weeks, didn't have anything to do all day until work at 4:30pm, so I was sleeping when the first hit. My dad worked third shift at the time and woke me up before he went to bed to tell me a plane hit the WTC. And my first thought (like a lot of people) was "well okay, that sucks but its probably just a tiny prop plane and isn't going to cause much damage" and I was annoyed me woke me up for that, lol.

I got up and was watching the coverage, and there was discussion back and forth over the next 20 minutes or so about the type of plane... people calling in from the street and some saying it looked like a tiny plane and others saying it looked like a big passenger plane--and there was discussion about if it was just a weird fluke accident, a suicidal pilot in a tiny plane, etc. And then the second plane hit. I think a terror attack had been mentioned before that but mostly in passing and they were going over a lot of possibilities, until then when it became clear.

Then came all the mis-information! A plane down here, a missile there, a helicopter over there, the capital building on fire, etc. Pretty hectic and confusing and crazy.

I watched the coverage on Fox News at the time (lol) but a few years back I watched the recording of live CNN coverage over those couple hours, and I'm overly amused by one dude they had on (I think it was a NY affiliate, not CNN proper that they were running the feed from for a while) who even after the second plane kept asking everyone they had on if it could just be some major radar malfunction sending planes to the WTC, and a pilot dude they had on was like, "uh... no. That's not how that works." but he kept going on about it. >_>
