This ended up sparking a "Twitch Streamer vs Youtuber War". The whole her hiding the existance of a boyfriend, her tier 3 sub white knight army and the discord bans is just icing on the cake. No one really cares and just makes fun of her for it. |

Majority of the students enrolled into JROTC just want to get out of P.E. and don't care about what the course has to offer outside of field trips or watching movies in class lol. You'll only have a handful of JROTC students who actually join the military after high school. In my year only 3 of us (myself included) ended up enlisting/comissioning. |

Those who do you're gonna have a bunch who either end up getting cold feet and don't enlist or they get disqualified at MEPS or reception in basic training. A career in the military is actually a pretty good deal. There are plenty of non-combat related jobs that you can get certified for so when you get out you have something to show for your service to potential employers. Some jobs even offer bonuses ( highest I've seen is $40k for some cyber security job). You get to travel around the US or get sent overseas, best part is that you're getting paid for it at no cost to you. You get health insurance, life insurance, your cost of living (housing/ food) is paid by the military and you get free college through tuition assistance and other programs like GI, 9/11 and Montgomery bills. I think too many people write off the military as a viable option. Yeah theres shit bag recruiters it fucking happens but you shouldn't let that stop you. Especially in this day and age when you can research online or talk to current Service Members on reddit if you're not sure about something. |
