Taste is subjective. I like RPGs and shit. Tales of Cold Steel 3 for example is not a top 100 game on metacritic but I still love it. I don't give a shit what metacritic says. Granted, it's a timed exclusive and not a 100% exclusive, but still. Having a PS4 let me play quite a bit earlier then I otherwise would have been able to. More to the point, I'd buy a Series X if it had just 10 good exclusives. Like you I have a Wii U. Unlike you I don't regret buying it. Why? Because I still got a few hundred hours of fun out of it even with it's tiny library. That's all I want from Series X. A few hundred hours of fun. As it is, the only game that really hypes me is Avowed. Maybe Everwild and Fable would be up my alley too. I don't know right now. Still, not really enough to make me want to go buy a Series X.

Why lol? Why would I buy a console if all the games it has I can play on my PC? I mean, back in the day you could make arguments about preferring consoles due to controllers or playing on TV instead of monitors, but these days almost every single new PC game has controller support(aside from certain PC exclusive games) and it's very easy to play PC games on your TV. Aside from exclusives, modern consoles offer pretty much nothing over a gaming PC other then cost. Which is fine for people that can't afford or don't want a gaming PC but for people that do have them console exclusives are pretty much the only thing consoles have to offer.

No, they bought it play Halo and Gears back when those names meant something. There was also shit like Mass Effect 1 which, lets not forget, was a 360 exclusive at launch. Fable 2 was also quite good. And of course all those many Forza games. Yes, 360 exclusives still numbered far less then PS3 and Nintendo systems but it was enough to buy a console for.

The PS4 has a "good enough" UI because it has no incentive to improve. That's why the shit looks unchanged from 2013, despite the occasional good idea gaining traction online. The UI matters because it's your primary way to interact with the console. I've never heard anyone say "gosh I wish the PS4 always had to copy massive update files before they installed them" or "I love having to go to the media folder to access YouTube all the way at the end"

OK. Lets say you think it's worth missing out of dozens of excellent exclusives for the sake a smoother UI. What about people like me? People that have a gaming PC and who will get new ones often enough that consoles will never edge out my PC in terms of UI or specs. Why should I get an Xbox Series X? With the PS5, shitty UI or not, at least they'll be a lot of games on it that I know I can't play on my PC. What does the Series X offer me? Why should I buy it?

I'm really not sure if I'm going to get this console to be honest. I generally buy every console. I think the last console I *didn't* own was the Saturn. But I'm really not sure if I'm getting this one. Xbox One was probably the worst console investment I ever made. I played even the Wii U more then I played the Xbox One. I, believe it or not, actually got the fucking thing for Scalebound. Talk about a poor decision. In the end I think the only things I ever played on my Xbox One were the timed exclusive Tomb Raider and Sunset Overdrive. Having a gaming PC just made it so I had little reason to ever actually use the thing.

The *real* console is $500. That is *not* cheap so I don't know what anyone would get hyped by the price.

Which is exactly Cloud's character in Midgar. FF7R wasn't a perfect game but the characterization was fucking awesome for everyone. The only person who was kind of weird was Sephiroth. But he's barely in the game so it's kind of hard to get a true gauge of him.

She also got instantly put down by the taser. Which Blake did not. So who knows? The scratcher people are the saddest. I use to sell lotto tickets at an old job and while there were a lot of people that consistently played the lotto, they were nothing compared to scratcher people. Yeah it can be a slog in Sky. The gameplay just ain't great. This series has an issue.. Especially since CS, the gameplay is fun in short bursts. But the dungeons are always like 33% too long and you're just ready for the next story scene after a while. Maybe if there was more story in the dungeons it would help, or if they just cut them back a bit

The combat can certainly drag. Though I think it's less about dungeon length to me and boss length. There were multiple times playing CS3 where i was like "I'm gonna finish this final part of this dungeon real quick then go to sleep" only to stay up like 90 minutes longer then expected. Granted, that was mostly only a problem before I figured out how to break the combat system.

The obvious question is: Did he reach for or move towards the gun and/or was he still attacking the officers when the gun came into play? If was surrendering or was restrained when the gun came into play and they just blasted him then that would be awful. But if he was fighting with the cops and the gun was within his reach...can't say I'd say that's a bad shooting even if he didn't explicitly reach for it.

Given the original Gagharv trilogy was RTS like, a hybrid-esque turn and action based system, I see the new arc as a "return to form" for that, so to speak.
But we'll see, given how Kondo talked about the new battle system doesn't make it sound full action though:

* Action Time Battles are no longer. Hajimari no Kiseki is its swan song.
* These are command battles with action elements and greater real-time naturewithout an Action Time bar.
* This is a type of battle never before seen.

Maybe it'll be like Tales or something.
