I used to be obsessed with Jrpgs but as I've gotten older gameplay has become more more important to me than story and a lot of jrpgs have weak poorly thought out gameplay and tbh a lot of the stories arent good either. Theirs exceptions though like Fire Emblem Geneology of the Holy war.Genealogy of the Holy War is a great game, but the story is as cookie cutter as they come.
