Why would you ignore the second O in chocolate but not in choco?

In speaking chocolate, the speed of saying it makes it easy to drop the sound of the second o. The co part of chocomountain doesn't really go away even if you say it fast. It can be de-emphasized, but it's still there.

Because regardless of how anyone says it, factually it has 3, which is what he asked. Otherwise he should have asked how many syllables you pronounce of the 3.

The actual poll "question" lists the pronunciations so it's pretty obvious people are voting for how they say it.

Yeah generally the easiest ways to gift now are wrapped stacks of 2 foreign fruit, 3 coconuts, 2 iron nuggets, 2 conches, 2 corals, 3 venus combs, or a single giant clam or identified fossil.

Or a single foreign fruit gifted from a stack while you have a full inventory.

I just looked it up and 1.4 made the change to where your gift has to have a minimum value of 750 bells in order to get a photo. But it also fixed the glitch where gift-wrapping stacks of items wouldn't add up the whole value of the stack, and now it does.

Alternatively there's still an exploit where if you have a completely full inventory with a stack of foreign fruit, you can gift one fruit from the stack (unwrapped) and the villager will mail you a present in return. That present can still be their photo despite the fruit being worth less than 750 bells.

Other changes to the gift system include: the animal's don't gift you bells anymore regardless of how much your gift was worth, they now have the chance to gift you wallpaper/flooring, and apparently before they would never display hand-gifted artwork but now they sometimes will.
