for eggs it doesn't really matter. You put them in, turn it on 8/10 and wait til they look like eggs you'd like to eat (then mush em up to make scrambled eggs or flip it over to make over-easy)

for burgers you put it on 8/10 and do 2-3 minutes each side

You can put the pan in the sink with water and then just wash it next time you want to use it, takes like one wipe with a sponge

if you want things to taste restaurant quality and if you want to make cleaning the pan even easier, melt a tiny square of butter in the bottom of the pan first

It doesnr have have to be healthy since I usually dont eat healthy items anyway

it's honestly faster and tastier to cook for yourself a lot of the time

scrambled eggs/eggs over easy take like 3 minutes and you can make them exactly how you like them. Making your own hamburger takes 5 minutes. Both of these are literally 1) put it in the pan 2) turn it over when it's brown

I think teachers complain more because teaching is often seen as an "easy" job in popular culture what with the "shorter" work days and "summers off". I imagine that's their way of venting that it's not as easy as people constantly say it is. Whereas other traditional tough jobs don't come into question as to how tough they are so there's no need to defend their toughness.

What do you do, btw? That sounds interesting.

I'm a backcountry skiing guide now but for 7 years I did avalanche control and EMS for one of the busiest ski areas in the world. It was just as exciting as it sounds, it was chaos and amazing. I miss it, but couldn't live there anymore.

Do you think complaining is part of teacher culture?

My wife is a teacher and yes, the job is hard. My job is also hard, I have to literally climb mountains and see dead people bleeding into the 6ft deep snow with heavy weights.

But I don't get to say "I have the hardest job in the world you don't understand!" And every teacher I've ever known thinks that about their job, including my wife. But they also CONSTANTLY complain about how hard it is and is going to be.

There is no such thing as "toned", you are thinking of being somewhat muscular and also lean.

So you need to eat over your TDEE until you become pretty strong, then you need to cut while working to maintain that strength

You can gain muscle, you can lose fat. There is no magical "tone"
