the job system in this game stinks. it discourages you from actually jumping around to different jobs because it takes a few fights to adjust to a new job (your stats are lowered until then) and you're also gonna be kinda weak with your new job until you boost its job level.

people are dumb. i went to a walmart yesterday and saw like 20+ people kind of just hovering in the electronics section. apparently walmarts all over the place had gotten shipments. they got a clueless employee to scan a barcode and confirm that they had stock but the manager and other employees were saying they didn't. so all the dudes who went there for one just stayed there...for some reason. dude who told me about it had been waiting two hours and that a lot of people were there before him.

Why do people still cling to Melee. That game is fucking ancient and belongs in a museum

it still has the best mechanics and movement. the series took a massive step backwards in terms of gameplay when brawl came out. i tried to like brawl. i put like 100 hours into it back then but gave up because i wasn't having any fun. gave smash 4 and ultimate smaller chances than that. i don't really play melee anymore because i'm just over it at this point because it's so old but it sucks that nothing else in the smash series or otherwise plays or feels even remotely similar to it.
