Honestly it's kind of unfair to make business employees enforce these mandates. If the government wants it to be a policy they should be enforcing it too with officers and stuff.

The first death star they fucked around with destroying Alderan. They could have phoned the mandalorians and said *hey look what we can do to your people" just before they destroyed Alderan.and the mandalaroiaans would have been like oh shit here's our armor.

What about this?

Empire has built a couple functional death stars. They could have sent a message to the Mandalorions...give us your armor or we destroy you with the death star. That's what I would have done.

If I was a Redskins fan, I'd find this to be quite maddening.

Because it's something you wear. Anything you wear will always be fashionized.

So basically the Empire couldn't even invade and steal that tech, because they'd be at a huge disadvantage due to not having that armor.

Now, on to my next question: Why does storm trooper armor seem to be so terrible? One shot always kills them. From what I've seen, not wearing any armor at all might actually provide more defense against laser blasts.

Seems like the Empire should be able to furnish that.
