I use the d-pad with with my left hand thumb to move my guy around in the outer world, then use my index finger to just press L1 over and over and have everyone attack. I've seen people lose fingers, get their hands crushed in a machine etc. Last year someone got their entire arm covered in hot-melt glue. They had to get a skin graft. A few years back I put a staple thru my finger. I'm talking about one of the big staple guns that run on compressed air. It went right thru my nail and then out the other side and then folded over. I'm loving it so far. A game like this is really what I was in the mood for right now. I'm actually the same as you. I played it before up until I unlocked the jobs system but then stopped playing for reasons I can't even remember.
