I actually co-sign the hell out of this. That dude never made me laugh outside the Eminem impression. I tried his podcast a couple times and it was not entertaining at all. Didn't mind seeing his predatory ass getting the boot either.

Some people grow up well and still become down to earth. But he reeked of privileged kid.

He was unfortunate to be in the time when everyone was instantly Harvey Weinstein. He seemed like he just had a weird fetish that he didn't realize was putting people in the position it was. Burt was never my favorite, but I always felt like he was a decent guy. Unlike Ari.

Love Segura, but holy shit did their podcast take a path that I couldn't stay on board for >_>. Their podcast was my main one for a few months, then it became what it became.

Thank God, Bad Friends came along with Bobby Lee & Andrew Santino. Now that's just a fun feel good podcast. I'm off topic now tho.

He was cancelled enough that I no longer see him. I seen him a lot, then he never came back to those places after the Kobe thing. His main circle seemed to have dropped him. I think thry were looking for a reason after him drugging Burt. He was at least cancelled by his friends, it seems >_>

Fall Guys should of shortened their season. There was no way people were gonna stay interested in that game for long with how repetitive it was. You gotta have more skill based gameplay if you're gonna be that repetitive.

Ari Shaffir.

That dudes whole career was just him being a douchebag using the lowest form of comedy. He was never funny and relied completely on shock value. Plus, what 50 year old doesn't know that you don't fuckin drug your friend, especially in front of his family.

I think his cancellation stuck because all his friends didn't think he was worth fighting for. They were probably sick of him at this point as well. I'm glad they didn't. Cause I like most of his friends and they're way above him imo. It's almost like he was only their friend cause he was always around. Maybe Im wrong, not something I care about enough to look into.

In the end, I do realize I don't get to decide what counts as comedy and I'm not the final word of what's funny or not, but does anyone really wanna defend this guy?

How hard is it to understand that jokes are not, nor should they be, exempt from criticism? If a joke is bad, what's wrong with people saying it's bad? Everyone is well aware that it's a joke, the point of the criticism is that it was not a funny or even an appropriate joke. It's not like people take it seriously and actually believe Kimmel would report Oliver to ICE, it's that they don't think that's a fun topic to joke about because, say for example, they have relatives or close friends who were deported by ICE.

The problem is more so turning it into a news story, like it's bigger than just people not finding it funny.

But a classic Dragon Quest was exactly what I wanted. I am fine with the Final Fantasy series reinventing itself with each game yet I also love the Dragon Quest series for sticking to it's roots and remaining loyal to the classics. I believe there is room for both.

SquareEnix can still make great games. Just once all there gamrs were great and now maybe its one in five. They still give us a Dragon Quest XI showing they still have that spark.

I am actually looking forward to a new Final Fantasy in the first time in fifteen years.

FFVII remastered is literally a third of a game. Yes, I know they added a bunch of shit in to pad it out, but they're splitting one game's story into 3 minimum. I will buy it in 10 years when I can get the complete edition for the price of one game.

Have you ever watched a series that was based on a movie, before the entire series aired?

You might not like games going in that direction, but there's still some small hypocrisy in there, if you have. People look at FFVIIREMAKE and react like a story being explored more, at a slower pace (fuck the sidequests tho, those legitimately were filler that added nothing to the story) is a completely new concept.

Just like a tv series, there's still the source material you can go to in the original, if you just want the full story delivered faster and with the original story untouched.

I personally am a pretty patient person on this type of stuff. So as long as there's a game that can compete with it's competitors there stand one, I'm not gonna complain too much. But like I said, they could work on the sidesquests a lot more.
