You unlock stages by either beating them because somebody else added them to the rotation, or by beating the stage prior to it if it's the next one in line for you to unlock.

So, like, if you beat 3-2 because somebody else added 3-2, you'll unlock 3-2.
But if you're doing it on your own (nobody added 3-2), and you have everything up to 3-1 unlocked, then you'll unlock 3-2 by beating 3-1.

Like...what happened a lot during gamergate was that there would be prominent women in the game industry, their names would be publicly known, and people would use that with white pages lookups, disambiguate the white page lookups, comb through public records for any name changes, figure out when they were born, what high school they went to etc, and then publish all their findings in a text dump. Occasionally they would get things wrong, the phonebook would have multiple people with the same last name, and they'd list the address of the wrong person.

Anyway, yeah, most people filed that under doxxing, even though "phone books are public information", and "name change records are public information" -- yeah, they are but it takes quite a bit of work to track people down that way, so it's still a significant invasion of privacy to post the address of a single individual even if every step of the way you used public information.

(I'm not sure how I feel yet about a "trump donors near you" website on the other hand--the thing that's usually invasive about doxxing is that it singles out one person who already has a mob angry against them--when it's thousands of people, is it still doxxing? No one person is being singled out, so no one person is feeling like their life is in danger, but on the other hand it is making the information easier to find).

While this is true, I'd argue what makes the site in question different is that it didn't go hunting for info through various sites and compile it, it got it from one source that is public to anybody else. It's almost a 1:1 info transfer.

As it stands right now, there's not really any reason for Biden to start denying anything because... There's not truly anything there, yet. All it'd do is draw attention to it.

It'd be like if I started posting on here "Joe Biden eats babies," and suddenly the Biden campaign put out a statement saying he doesn't eat babies. People are suddenly gonna be like "Wait, who said he ate babies? What's that about?"

Well, it's a bit of both.

He got it to the ending he wanted, just not necessarily completely in the way he wanted. He basically rushed himself to his desired ending because of his health. Lightning's point is that he didn't have to like, completely change plans because the series got cancelled or anything. He still followed the general outline he wanted. He just had to speed through it for his own reasons, which is why it ended up rushed as it did.

I mainly disagree with the premise, then.

I do agree that the president himself should not be telling the DoJ to do anything. I don't agree with the idea that independent prosecutors investigating/prosecuting Trump would open a can of worms, though. It'd be different if no actual crimes had been committed, but if there are, then it really doesn't matter what the other side feels. Facts are facts. Crimes have been committed. The other side thinking other crimes have been committed when they haven't doesn't change that.

It's on a game by game basis. The game has to be made for it. There are lists around the web. I don't know if 13 Sentinels can be 4K or not, but I do know it apparently runs "better" on Pro because it runs like ass on base.

Are we sure this is how this works? I can imagine a lot of people picking 1-1 since it's easy and the default as well as people picking the furthest level they have unlocked. We're seeing a lot of 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4 too, and am wondering if people are specifically picking these every time or if the game just always includes certain levels.

1-2 is a fantastic farm level, which is why you'll always see a lot of that. I imagine you don't see as many far levels because

A. Those levels are going to appear at the end, anyway, and sometimes games don't even last that long
B. People seem more interested in winning than unlocking levels, so not as many toss in harder levels

Other senses can make up for lack of hearing or sight. What senses make up for smell? Like, in his example, not being able to smell smoke/gas/etc. is a pretty big problem.

Nah, you're right. Petition the government for redress covers protest. It's why that portion of it is used interchangeably with "protest."

The other thing to remember is what you think you're seeing from other players isn't necessarily what's actually happening to them due to latency. You might see a player stumbling on your screen because they got hit by a ball but still seeming to go full speed, because on their side the ball actually missed them. Likewise, you might see somebody just abruptly stop when it looks like they haven't been touched.
