This is very good to know. I was about to put in 10k on RB on crypto stocks like an idiot. So far I made $1000 on gains as BTC went up. If I sell, I'm going to pay 20-37% on taxes??? Even something like Coinbase Pro could be a better option I think the fee is about 1.5% or less and you can set the actual price you want to buy or sell at.

But the best thing to do in the future is set up your own personal wallet and be able to transfer your Crypto their and control your private keys. I've also heard hardware wallets are good too, but I have no experience with them so I cant say for myself.

What would be the benefit of actually owning the coin vs buying the stock then? With the stock, you're essentially making money the same way you would by owning the coin if the price of BTC goes up. Is it the different demand for people wanting the stock vs the actual currency?

The problem with having the stock is that your stuck on their platform. So if you acquired a bunch of coin on Robinhood then wanted to transfer your Crypto to a bank like Nexo, or Blockfi, so that you can actually earn interest on your savings you wouldnt be able to do that.

Unless you sell the asset for Fiat (USD, Euro etc.)

The problem with that though is that once you sell the asset you will have to pay capital gains taxes on whatever it increased by. Which is either 20% or 37% depending on whether it's long term or short term gains.

If you actually own your Crypto you'll be able to send it, make exchanges with it or do whatever you want without having to sell it for USD. So you wont be forced to pay those heavy taxes.

You can also even exchange your coin for other stable coins, like USDTether, which is a cryptocurrency that matches the USD in value. Even doing that you wont have to pay any capital gains taxes because you still technically are holding Crypto

What's WB? I'm assuming RH is Robinhood. The problem with Robinhood is that you don't actually have custody of your coin. You can't transfer it to your own personal wallet or any other so you're effectively buying a stock and not actually acquiring Cryptocurrency

The proof in Crypto is in the pudding. The naysayers will stay in denial because they feel they missed out. It's still early though on the grand scale, smart investment even if you start from now own can still be life changing

Imo I'd say wait for a heavy drop, the once it hits that low buy as much as you can and watch for the heights it can reach in 2021

There's heavy amounts of institutional money coming into the space because they want to own and control all of the Crypto like they do with everything else so that will drive the price up greatly.

Usually when BTC reaches it's all time high there is big pull back.

With BTC the last two major bull runs, once BTC passed its ATH there were pullbacks that put it back at its previous ATH, then it continued its run dwarfing what it had previously seen before

Based on the previous years ther trend shows it may continue that pattern

Coinbase is good to get in but has heavy fees, especially on selling and they kill you on the spread price. I still use Coinbase mainly when I buy coin.

Gemini is better and has lower fees. Or if you stick to Coinbase atleast transfer your coin to Coinbase pro before you make exchanges because that has lower fees as well

And if you plan on saving long term. Save on a Crypto banking service like Nexo or Blockfi (I'm more familiar with Nexo). That way you get compound interest on what you save.

Atomic Wallet is a good wallet that has good variety of coins and lets you convert different currencies

If you want to go there, they did have terms for Judeans, Assyrians, some Arab groups and Babylonians yet they are all Semites

In the text I quoted above from Diodorus Siculus he does refer to Egypt as being a colony of Ethiopian origin. So some Greek Historians did refer to the Egyptians as being of Ethiopian origin.

No the Hyskos and Libyans were lighter skinned and Kushites were black. Egyptians marked themselves as in between and other sources pointed the difference. I think descendants of slaves should be given a choice in whether they want to build their own land or territory. Since they've never been given that choice or opportunity and were brought here against their will. Those who want to stay should be free to do so. I dont think most people see that as unreasonable. Even Native Americans have some form of sovereignty and some land. Tribal courts and independent justice systems. (Even though they deserve a lot more as well, and there are a many problems they face in America also.)

Basically Black Americans who descend from American slavery, should be given the opportunity to build a land of their own, especially since the American government and police forces continue to treat them with hostility

The DNA test you're referencing came from a small area in Fayoum within a small period of time late in Egypts history (New Kingdom to Roman Era). It's like taking a sample of a single ethnic neighborhood in America and using it as a representative of the entire USA. In this case it's using subjects from a small region in a period of time where invasion and migration was common and using it to represent a 3000+ year old civilization that had been for existence for millennia prior. If you did that even within the USA you'll get an inaccurate picture of what the country is like.

When you widen the sample size and choose mummies of different time periods, especially older time periods. Ands ones from further south, you get more DNA of Black African origin in the results
