couple of things from this hour that i figured i'd mention

i like how you can just leave a craftopia stream open in the background and it pretty much just sounds like someone playing breath of the wild... even with a real botw stream also on for comparison

of the several "noted popular with vtuber" games craftopia seems to have been inspired by, they sure do lean in hard on all the ones without craft in the name. i wonder if it's because they thought nobody would notice if it wasn't on the title

the number of people on usually starts to noticeably wind down around this time

by the next hour, about half of the new streams are typically just people in like large agencies like hololive since nobody else really gets views that late (or particularly wants to stream at midnight)

and in 3, maybe 4 hours time, it's likely there won't be anyone on (or at least not starting a stream then)

(oh yeah, you can breathe a sigh of relief now. i'm not going to do posts like this from now on, i just wanted to provide some context on what an average evening is like so people can... i dunno, get a hands on chance to learn more about vtubers in the vtuber topic off the bat)

also it's worth mentioning that hashino mizuha is what is known as a babiniku vtuber (person that portrays themselves as a cute virtual girl), and specifically one that uses a voice changer, so that person's content may be hit or miss... but, they're also a notable indie game developer and artist and they use pretty great bgm for their streams so i feel they're still worth sharing

Fair, although there are some pretty good gamers out there. Off the top of my head Suisei can hold her own against world class tetris players, and I don't know much about high level rhythm games but Gura seems pretty good at em.

incidentally, that Leina person i posted earlier is one of the best tetris players too, though she hasn't been practicing much lately. much like suisei she's also an artist, and made all of her models herself (she used to use a 3D model with a different design, but made a new Live2D one within the last week or so, also giving herself a "character" to rp as (you know how you said about japanese ones tending to do that? she was actually an exception until now, and Leina is actually just the name she goes by online. artist vtubers in particular seem pretty big on just using the medium to market themselves directly)

also half of the people that stream rhythm games (read: anyone bold enough to stream IIDX games) are definitely good at them
