We don't allow sign and trades (or franchise and trade). Essentially anyone who is currently on 0 years cannot be traded unless they are an RFA. RFAs can be traded after they clear RFA period whether through no offers or you matching the deal

Ugh, I hate that if the app crashes in arena it counts as a loss and ruins your win streak.

I was on a 19 win streak and it crashed 2 battles in a row. It looks like it didn't count either for battle pass purposes either

Miami in particular match up very well against the Bucks. The Bucks defense is stifling in the paint and tries to force teams to take 3s to beat them. Most teams aren't capable of consistently being hot enough from 3 to beat them over a series. Miami have exceptional 3 point shooters.

Also, slightly related. Fultz still has an ugly 3 point shot at times but he is shooting 45% from 3 in the playoffs.

It's hard to tell if the Bucks are in trouble or if they haven't taken us seriously. It's 3-1 but the Magic really should have won today to make it 2-2 and it's on Clifford that we didn't.

The Magic are missing a ton of starters and rotation guys (Gordon, Isaac, MCW, Aminu, Bamba) plus Fournier has completely no showed all 4 games. The fact that the Bucks are lucky to be up 3-1 is staggering.

I think they are in trouble against real opposition. Magic are running half a G league squad out there.

The worst part with Yuna is that her Memoria is that good that you may not even want to awaken her

I was going to wait for the next EX summon but then I remembered it is likely a character who I already have and have decent investment in. So I'd be forced to pick between them since you can't field the same character twice when they have alternate costumes / typings / whatever

Did 2 pulls on the Yuna banner. 3 SSRs but no Yuna. Got Velvet, Lloyd and Asbel. Asbel is new and the others are dupes. Velvet is up to 3/5 so I'm sure she hits like a truck now

Also now at 5 Malik Memoria so gotta decide whether I want to fully awaken him or use the Memoria (It's evasion for sword wielders).

Following guys are on the trade block as part of the Steelers perennial battle against the salary cap

QB Gant 80 OVR / 28 YO - He's a scrambling QB who has basically performed to the level you would expect from a scrambling QB of his rating (i.e. inaccurate at 54% completion but a solid runner averaging 8.31 YPC for his career)

DT McCoy 86 OVR / 26 YO - I think he's a pass rusher who doesn't thrive in my defense because I have so many pass rushers already. He was injured last season but in the 3 seasons before that he averaged 32 Tackles / 6 Sacks / 0.67 FF / 0.67 FR. I want to say that was in 2.5 seasons as I believe one of those seasons he was the backup

Whilst not actively shopping him, I could be encouraged to let MLB McClain go if I got a really good offer. He's the highest rated MLB* in the league (93) and is likely on a HoF projectory (617 Tackles, 46 Sacks, 11 FF, 12 FR, 8 INT in 7 seasons). He's 31 so I imagine he's still got 5 seasons in him given that there's 35 YO MLBs in the league. *Highest rated doesn't necessarily mean best, I'm sure there's some MLBs out there that have performed better than him

Just had a raid get a connection time out mid-run and then when it brought me back into the game the raid didn't even exist to rejoin or collect rewards

LE Abdul Hodge - No

No. He just doesn't have the counting stats for it. It's going to be a similar case to Lewis where being very good at the back end of your career just doesn't make up for not playing for a ton of years at the start. I suspect run blockers are always going to struggle to get in even if they play their entire career, nevermind half of it. They are basically going to need a ton of pro bowls to their name.

DT LeKevin Smith - Yes

He seems to be a fringe candidate in a position that will become hard to evalute. Those sack number averages across an entire career are impressive enough for me to say yes though

MLB Lofa Tatupu - Yes

At first glance I was going to say his sack numbers look low (which they do) but his INT / FF / FR numbers make up for it. He seems to be a high end disruptor. I do think a few years down the line, we will see quite a few people surpass his numbers providing they stay healthy but as of right now you can't really argue with where he is against the league and his post season accolades

12. MLB Gerris Wilkinson - No

He just doesn't quite have the numbers for me especially when compared to Lofa Tatupu. I think he's a good MLB but not HoF worthy

CB Adam Jones - Yes

I have no idea how to gauge CBs but comparing against my own ragtag bunch of misfits (who aren't very good), 31 INTs for a career seems really high.

SS Thomas Davis - No

SS'es tend to be stat stuffers and I just don't think he quite has the numbers beyond tackles. Compared to both the SSes I've utilized during my time in the league his Tackles are about the same and his Sacks, FF, FR, INTs are all below what they both on a season average basis. Now granted it's slightly unfair because these guys were starting so they don't have injuries or playing backup to drag those numbers down since they are both over 4 season sample sizes each. However, neither of them are winning awards and I don't think they made the candidates list. So there has to be a lot of better SS'es out there.

SS Michael Huff - No

Similar to the above. I just don't think he has the counting stats in a position that generally puts up impressive numbers.

HB Adrian Peterson - Yes

Is this one even debatable?

HB Cornell Brockington - No

We seem to see a lot of HB's at the mid-high 4.0 YPC for their career so to be sub 4 is always going to be a negative when it comes to HoF. Yes, he is an extremely high end pass catching (maybe the best?) but so is Courtney Lewis and his YPC is considerably better. Maybe I've been blessed by having a HB who doesn't fumble often but his fumble figures look high too. It also doesn't look great that he has no post season awards to his name.

HB Courtney Lewis - No

I honestly want to say yes but he just doesn't have enough counting stats due to lack of playing time. I don't think you can be a HoF based on 3 elite seasons and 2 very good seasons shortened seasons. He probably needed another 2 seasons as a starter under his belt to get the yes from me.

WR Mark Clayton - Yes

Like Peterson I don't think this is even debatable.

WR Roddy White - Yes

Like KCF I'm on the fence. I think he's borderline and it really depends on what WR numbers start looking at over the next few seasons worth of retirements. I think in general WR quality has declined since earlier seasons. Maybe now that the higher end WRs are starting to age out of the league that will change but I think White's numbers will hold up for a while because it will take us some time to develop WRs back up again. If he got another shot at this at a later date my vote would be no but since he only gets one shot I'm erring on the side of caution and voting yes.

TE Dominique Byrd - No

I think he's a borderline case similar to White. However unlike White whose numbers will hold up, I think we will get quite a few of the current crop of TEs to surpass his numbers. I feel like if he had a few more TDs to his name I'd be saying yes. It seems the good TEs typically get 4-5+ TDs a season and he's on the low end. I think he's like 50 yards a season and 0.7 ish TDs a season shy of being HoF worthy.

RT George Foster - Yes

His block/sack ratio is really good and so is his career block average. The fact that he also has multiple post season awards to his name just strengthens his case.

RG Brandon Moore - No

I don't think his numbers are going to hold up. His block/sack ratio is certainly above average but we have seen some interior O-linemen put up faur gaudier ratios. Even his block numbers aren't that great. ~40 a season is probably about average. I think it's going to be tough for interior O-linemen to get in because there's going to be people that put up 50-60+ blocks a season, there's going to be people who have like 7-8+ ratios and there's going to be people who play 16-17 seasons so have high career numbers. Moore doesn't tick a single one of those boxes.

Fultz winning more playoff games than Philly despite being on a worse team against harder opposition would be fantastic

Florida may not have mandated masks but a ton of counties did. Everyone has been wearing masks in the Orange county (Orlando) and surrounding areas for months now. It is very rare to see someone not wearing a mask. It's definitely mandatory here and in the surrounding counties

Edit: Just checked. Mandatory here since June. In a neighboring county it was mandatory in April as the missus had her car battery die there and we only had 1 mask in the car at that time. So it was a pain in the ass.

Which you can do but it needs to be said that there may be an OVR drop involved if a G plays OT. Whereas there isn't for a RT playing LT or vice versa

For what it's worth, there doesn't seem to be any real difference between a LT and RT with the way we sim. It's not like real life where an OT may be better at being a blind side tackle or something. You can basically have any OT play at LT or RT without penalty.

Yeah. It's no different for Orlando than it is for any other team. Not like they can go home to their wife and kids. Not like they are letting locals in to watch games. If anything it's got to feel worse that you're a 15 minute drive from home and can't go for like 2 months

The Magic don't even have home court advantage when we are actually at home against a big team.

Part of Fields argument was that it was safer for players to play than not play because if they do play, they will undergo regular testing and stricter guidelines / quarantine than if they don't play.

Not looked at Florida numbers since returning to work a few weeks back but I just drove by a testing site with literally zero queue. Just the testers sat by themselves in an empty car park. Maybe it's appointment only or something but that's a stark contrast from the 5+ hour waits to not even get tested when I was trying to get tested.

Also the missus had to go to the doctors recently and they just tested her for COVID anyway even though it wasn't why she was there.

Are you using Wildfire? That makes things a lot easier as it essentially doubles your damage output when it's stuck on someone

I think Phantom Tower basically has 3 solutions right now.

1. Brute force
2. Excessive healing
3. Abusing status effects like Wildfire, Poison, Burn

Why do you want a substone Grid for each weapon though? I thought that the stat buffs were best for dualswords in general

People go for dualswords because it gives the most attack via the farmable SR and SSR. It's lacking in HP and Defense though so it's very possible that it is made completely non viable by harder content hitting too hard to not be more defensive.

Whilst true it's incredibly misleading as they use identical wording for Awakening skills which then do apply to all allies.

Having the same wording mean 2 vastly different things in the same context is pretty bad. I'd imagine they will rectify it at some point

One is from the Guild Summon (at a crappy rate) and the other is from the Wind VH Raid (at an equally crappy rate)

@Grimlyn Remember that Velvet gets a 50% boost in stats from the Kyle Memoria compared to the Sophie Memoria.

Ugh, was trying to run down my stamina and raid tags to 0 before bed and didn't realize I was so close to level up so my efforts has done the exact opposite of what I wanted. At least AP is easy enough to quickly burn down again but raid tags not so much

There's no pity and unless rooted you have to delete files and redownload.

I imagine at some point in future there will be a pity timer. I get wanting a pity timer but it's also hard to expect one on a new game when that's their only way to generate money. Pity timers usually come a little bit further down the line when there's more units available

EDIT: Also having pity timers straight out of the door leads to players not sticking around because they get everything they want straight away and tend to stop playing quicker. Least it seems that way in a lot of games.

They were already pretty generous in the sheer number of SSRs you can get out of the gate completely F2P including a straight up selector.

Summons might not be playing nice with me recently but I did get an SR Memoria from the quest and an SSR Memoria from a raid already. I've probably done like maybe 20 raids total, if that.

I think I have 2. 1 event Patty and 1 non event Patty.

Although I did get screwed out of an SSR by maintenance. Had an SSR Alvin drop but it overran into maintainance. I got the drop screen with him showing and then maintainence screen after. When I logged back in I didn't have him and the raid wasn't in the list to be claimed. So I assume all the drops from that raid were lost to the abyss

Bleh, another multi summon with no SSR so that's 4 in a row now. May be more but I know for sure it's at least 4.

I'm always wary about using my SR Memoria. I probably shouldn't be but it's all just sitting there unused for the most part.

Although I'm thinking of throwing my 3 Genis together since the ability on that Memoria is really useful

Yeah I didn't mention Presea because her awakening skill sucks. Boosts Axe users when she's the only Axe wielder in game.

Man, you could have had Lailah, Gaius and Arche all fully awakened. Would have had an 8% chance to reset Artes and +20% attack at 20+ hits to Fire Allies.

Like I kind of understand the Gaius and Arche since their stone abilities are good but Lailah's stone ability seems bad. Any reason you fully did her stone rather than awakening the character?

16 Softstones and 16 Rainbow Lens will get it to 90/90/90/80 which doesn't seem awful to get (in theory!). After that it's going to be miserable to get further.

I guess at some point I should work on Yuri too since he's going to be boosted for the event.
