His wife went through it quickly with mild symptoms, but her senses of smell and taste were still gone despite everything else feeling better. Kombucha posted... Im going to echo other posters and say the fake underwear is a step too far for me, but the overall premise of a history buff isnt a deal breaker. Before coming to the US, my dad grew up in Communist Poland during the 60s and 70s when there were still craters from the war. Memorabilia like that was relatively easy to find, and there was a treasure trove for sale in flea markets and the like in the 90s after the end of the Cold War. I wish that I was older and could have been there as an adult with money to buy some. When Frodo comes back to Bree, Butterbur mentions they havent been able to get any. They also meet Saruman and Grima on the way back to Rivendell. They chill there for a while, and in the interim Saruman takes over the Shire. Sams vision of the Shire in Galadriels mirror was of what Saruman would do to the Shire. Before I had a smartphone, it was always something that I saw myself getting and using in the future, but I dont know about these watches. I just dont see the utility in it. Do any of you? Notifications on my wrist, but it has to be close enough to my actual phone? IDK. When the weather is nice, I do run outside, so I could use it for that and other exercises, but I already have apps on my phone for that. I also sweat like Rafael Nadal once it gets really warm/hot out, but the strap material and the thing itself seem at first look like they would rinse off pretty easily, so that may be a wash. I just see more value in a new phone (mine is four years old), a new computer (older), or even an actual watch (I only checked prices at Shinola so far, which assembles watches here in Michigan, and their basic watches start around the same price and its not much more if I wanted a different model) than adding a smart watch to everything.
