They added bots in a recent patch to the normal games and the bots are just awkward and annoying. You can play ranked mode, but that's squads only and unless you have friends to play with, you wind up with 3 random people who don't use mics and it's infuriating trying to communicate and synchronize.

I played a few rounds after that patch and got fed up and haven't really gone back. It's still going to some extent, it's just not what it was like... 2? 3? months ago.

One of the easiest changes they could have made that would have made a world of difference was to turn off in-match all chat or made the option available to do so.

Can't speak for other people, but as a white person, I was told that "African-American" was the more politically correct term I should be using. Personally, when I'm telling stories, I prefer to drop skin color/ethnicity altogether, so instead of saying "I bumped into this black guy/Asian girl/Hispanic kid at the store today and..." I'll just say "I bumped into this guy/girl/kid at the store today and...". I don't know why "European-American" or whatever isn't a thing.

I can't remember what exactly I thought of the difference between the two, I think I liked Buffalo Wild Wing's sauce selection better, and I think Wing Stop gave me horrendous acid reflux, but when it came down to the chicken itself (I get the chicken nuggets, not the actual wings/drumsticks), I can't remember which I liked better.

Pretty sure they stopped adding them after a certain point. *fires up DS* yup, I still have gold medals on Puzzle Swap and Find Mii I&II. I still haven't finished Slot Car Rivals though, but I only play it like once a year at PAX East.

That's what I'm doing. I don't understand how the ability grid thing is supposed to work anyway (even after those skits where Lailah informed me).

You get bonuses if you complete a column, a row, or have multiples of the same square. Problem is, you could have an amazing set of bonuses, but be stupid weak because you're not using the current level equipment. So you basically have to ignore the system entirely until you get end-game equipment, and then at that point I guess you could work on the bonuses but why bother unless you really love the game and just want to grind away at it post-game or something.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Oaklands mayor said five ropes found hanging from trees in a city park are nooses and racially-charged symbols of terror but a resident said they are merely exercise equipment that he put up there months ago.
Mayor Libby Schaaf said Wedesday that a hate crime investigation was under way after a social media post identified a noose at the citys popular Lake Merritt. Police said they searched the area on Tuesday and found five ropes attached to trees.
The Police Department provided five photographs of trees, some of which showed knotted ropes and one that appeared to have a piece of plastic pipe attached to a rope, hanging from tree limbs.
Victor Sengbe, who is black, told KGO-TV that the ropes were part of a rigging that he and his friends used as part of a larger swing system. He also shared video of the swing in use.
Out of the dozen and hundreds and thousands of people that walked by, no one has thought that it looked anywhere close to a noose. Folks have used it for exercise. It was really a fun addition to the park that we tried to create, Sengbe said.

Bread, steak meat with or without the onions, and ketchup, that's where it's at. I also don't know anyone around here that puts mayo on their cheesesteaks, but maybe one of the overrated famous shops do. Also, all of the local shops around here use American cheese or something else, the cheez whiz crap seems to be more of a "let's feed the tourists this garbage" sort of thing.

I forget what format it was originally on, but we had a demo of the first level or so of Rayman on PC when it was originally released, and I really liked it, so we went out and bought the full game. It was difficult, but I beat the game 100%.

After a while, I was browsing through some educational catalog we got, and I saw Rayman Forever for PC listed, so I asked for that, and we ordered it and got the wrong thing, contacted the folks about it and they got us the right one. Rayman forever was effectively the original game but it had some user-made levels and it came with a level designer so you could make your own. I spent tons of hours building my own levels and learned some interesting level design stuff that always stuck with me and affected how I viewed or designed user-created levels.

In the box for Rayman Forever was an ad for Rayman 2, which I was super excited about. When it came out, I grabbed it for PC right away, and it was actually the game that brought me to GameFAQs (incidentally, it was released 2 days before the Message Boards went live). I absolutely loved Rayman 2 and it's still probably one of my favorite games.

Then Rayman 3 came out, so I grabbed it for GameCube, and while I enjoyed the humor in it, I didn't like it quite as much as 2.

After some time, an announcement came out about a new Rayman game, featuring some crazy rabbits. It looked absolutely crazy and I had high hopes for it, but somehow I missed the memo that it was just going to be mini games. When I bought Raving Rabbids and discovered it was just mini games, I was really disappointed with it. My friends who had no former Rayman experience loved it, but it was a huge letdown for me. I did grab Raving Rabbids 2, but I was never a big fan of the two of them.

Then, finally, Rayman Origins was announced. It looked to be everything I had hoped for, and it came through. I bought it for PS3 and thought it was great. I never did get platinum on it, just because I didn't bother to do all the speedrun stuff. Rayman Legends went over and above Rayman Origins and I did platinum it.

I'm still waiting for a followup to Rayman Legends and really wish they'd stop releasing remasters of it for every platform...

Because if I remember correctly, while his acceleration isn't as good as Toad's, it's still better than Mario's, and his top speed is better than Toad's as well? Toad's still my favorite, but that extra speed helps. Then again, after a certain point in the Mario Kart series your speed and acceleration didn't matter for crap if the stupid game decided you weren't getting first anyway because of its idiotic rubber banding algorithms, so \_()_/
