| SlamVook 07/14/20 9:58:56 PM #10 | Traveling is pretty risky right now, but if you still want to go anyways: The flights are cheap because Corona virus right? Yes and No. Some Airlines might have deals, while others may keep their usual rates. Research time. Ideally is it cheaper to fly round trip or two one way tickets? Round trip will be cheaper most of the time indeed. Is it cheaper to stay for a few days or a whole week? I always do 5-day trips (My departure is usually on Wednesday morning and my return on Sunday night) and i can tell you by experience that it is indeed a good ammount of days to spend in 1 place. 1 week might be a too much if you are gonna stay at one city and 3-4 days always feel like you could have done something else, so 5 days is pretty much spot on. By traveling on wednesday morning and returning on sunday night, you maximize your time so make sure to do that. Just be careful, as someone said, Sunday is a pretty busy day at the airport since plenty of people use it to return home so tickets will be obviously a bit more expensive and you might not have many seats left. Since you are traveleving within the same country, make sure to buy your tickets at least 10 to 15 days before, that way you will get a pretty decent deal. If you can make it 3 weeks by any chance, you might even find it at a cheaper price, but a rule of thumbs is no less than 10 days before the flight date. --- I think that dude was a dude, dude! |

Even if at some point very few people were currently infected, they will still keep infecting new hosts and so on. --- I think that dude was a dude, dude! |

While they are talking or joking, i noticed most of the time its always the big or fat girl within the group that talks, laughs or yells noticeably louder than the rest. From what i've heard its not something mandatory but it is something almost all people do... So what exactly happens when you dont TIP in the US? Im not a stingy person or anything like that so i expect to follow the tipping culture over there but i wonder if i could get away with not tipping like once or twice? I assume i could just do it on an occasional one-time-visit restaurant but what would happen if i dont tip in a place that i will go at least 2 or 3 times during my stay there? Assuming the waitress remembers me as the "non-tipping guy" will i get a worse treatment for it next time i go there? Im curious about that. --- I think that dude was a dude, dude! |
