dq7 is amazing

it gives you the boat right off the bat and the games story is episodic in nature

it doesn't have the openess of the others, but the plot development is top notch
someone who likes the more boring parts of dw3 would fall in love with dw7

i enjoyed 1 and 3
but it'd be hard to recommend them to people now
they're more like staples for stats and level building in modern gaming

if someone wanted to play dw3 on SNES and it like had like double XP
then i'd say go for it

If that's true it's a shame it's buried, but I get why.

It's hard to look at people like that as people, especially hard to think of them as capable of anything good.

It's a lot less uncomfortable to think of Hitler as some monster, not human at all, than to accept that someone can be a human and be monstrous.

But it's a shame because it doesn't put anything into perspective, it just furthers a very black and white view of how life works.

I've played car mechanic simulator its pretty fun

every min wage job i've had was hard
every non-min wage job i've had gave me work that was substantially easier
I used to leave work not feeling tired at all
now I don't even go to work

to play 5 you gotta play ground zeros first
which in some ways is better than 5

then to play 5 like a real metal gear game you got to turn off reflex mode, turn of the HUD that marks people

mgs4 is bleh
it has cool mechanics but the entire game is just you sitting there with the controller in your hands doing nothing
by the time it's over you feel like you just got mugged or something
there's almost no gameplay in it, just all these action set peices

when i was in highschool if you found a room yes a room for 700$ you were lucky and the min wage was 7$

Now it's 13.50, your lucky if you get one for less than 1400$ and even then you still probably have to pay utilities unless it's in someone elses house or something

Square joined Enix in 2003 I think. So any Final Fantasy games after 2003 would be from the joint venture.

Enix prior to the merger made their name with the Dragon Quest series. Dragon Quest never caught on America as it did in Japan. Dragon Quest was also called Dragon Warrior too.

just because we didn't have DLC doesn't mean games can't be episodic
as long as the story changes from location to location and there are sequels it's episodic

hot take

dragon quest games aren't that great
they're pretty generic
but if you like episodic content
they're wonderful games
dq1&2 on gbc was fun when it came out
3 was amazing when it came out, first game with class systems

if dragon quest went back to something like 3 and 7 i'd be happy
but now it's all skill trees

oh and dq11 is like 3x easier than dq1-3
dq1-3 had you spend like half hour to an hour leveling every time you got to a new town
there where times i picked up that game JUST to level

they tried to turn final fantasy into mario
but instead of improving it
they just make it a completely different genre each time
like why have online games be 11,14
12 should've been another offshoot
same with 15

if square-enix didn't suck they would've had a dark souls like game with the mana series ages ago
but square is for casual gamers and little girls now
so we get stuff that'd basically run on IOS

nobody hated ff12 either, fftactics advance was fun but people complained about variety in the rules because it was released during the time kingdom hearts and FFX was out
i'm going to pick up xenoblade remake or watch a full playthrough
square isn't worth my money
they already spoiled most of ff7 anyway, who is excited to play it now? not me

What baffles me about the 'Republican's clogging the lines' thing is that you'd think the DNC would be able to enact something like caller I.D., do recounts/verifications, and not have these mess-ups in the first place. Didn't they do even a basic test run of this app beforehand? Run it through debugging? Write the numbers down on a napkin or, well, ANYTHING? Why didn't they use email when they realized there were problems? It's like that meme of the dog in the burning building.
