I watched like 70 episodes of Boruto on toonami, waiting for it to get good. It never did.

The only good parts were when the parents were fighting.

Boruto was only good when they did that time travel shit, and even then that's only because of the OG Naruto music that they play

I'm gonna dive into the Blood series. I didn't realize there were so many episodes of Blood+. I remember watching it every now and then when it was on Toonami/Adult Swim, but I never really followed it. I've heard good things about Blood-C, but figured I'd get caught up with everything else before starting that one.

I'm almost positive the event gives you a 2B to start with no? I'm playing for the first time since the game came out(played and dropped it the 1st day, but came back solely for the Nier stuff lol) and pulled A2. I'm shocked since I've heard nothing but bad things about this games rates

Finally finished reading Promised Neverland. I can see why people were complaining about the ending being rushed. Kinda was a cop out, but I still didn't mind it. I thought it was good all the way through. I'm pumped for S2 if it covers all the Goldy Pond stuff.

Aldnoah.Zero is probably the only modern one I can recommend. There are also the Gundam Origin OVAs which, as superb as they may be, might not be quite what you're looking for. Ironically enough, it's focus isn't so much on the mobile suits like every other entry in the franchise is. S

00 is my favorite series out of all the Gundam that I've watched =D

Yeah 00 easily beats everything else outside the UC timeline and holds up damn well to what I consider to what I enjoy the most from UC. Still, for me, nothing beats The Origin.

Perhaps I could have worded it better. My contempt for Seed and G must've seeped in. The point I was getting at is, the Gundams outside the U.C. are there to satisfy an aesthetic necessity. Can't call your show Gundam without any Gundams. However their presence and power is severely undermined when compared to the original premise as there's a greater emphasis on the pilots than the actual mobile suits themselves. I will concede that 00 was pretty good about giving a greater emphasis on the tech side of things

I mentioned earlier I have plenty of family who speak exclusively Spanish and it's not because they don't want to learn English. It's just the conditions and opportunities aren't as readily available and it requires unnecessary sacrifices.

Even with immersing yourself, it can be more than will power that makes learning a language difficult and/or unnecessary. If you come to the US and you have a family to support then this is especially difficult. You need to find a way to provide for your family first and foremost and the most effective way may be living where you'll receive the most support/understanding and working where you can be most productive to qualify yourself for a liveable wage. Which often times involves being employed by and with others who are similar in that regard.

Edit: Bleh, I'm too emotionally invested/biased in this discussion so forgive me if I come off too abrasive or irrational.

You need to realize that education is a privilege. Not everybody has the time or resources to allocate towards learning a language. Even if you're fully immersed in it, it's difficult to learn these things unconsciously. I do however agree it should most definitely be encouraged, but not expected.

In Umvc3, CPUs didn't get mixed/crossed up, and blocked unblockable set ups lol. Meanwhile they wouldn't use any of the aforementioned tactics so you cheated yourself out of practicing them and practicing defending against/preventing them. Not to mention you'd generate some bad habits since CPUs are simultaneously stupid along with being busted.

In short, you don't practice the meta and tech that you need to beat actual people and instead adopt an ineffective playstyle that might be difficult to unlearn/break out of.

While I disagree with TC's sentiments as he sounds pretty sus(edit because TC is saying some stupid shit and is clearly not trying to have an actual discussion and I want to clarify I'm not siding with that buster), I don't see anything wrong with never leaving the US. Nor do I find anything wrong with only knowing one language.

I might not have visited as many countries as more seasoned travelers. I've only been 10 countries, which I understand isn't all that impressive when you consider the fact that 9 have all been on the same hemisphere. It's not a lot but I do travel frequently enough since I'm not a one and done kind of guy.

Still, most people, I myself was one of these kinds not long ago, are too quick to dismiss travel within the US. There is so much to see or do outside of going to the larger metropolitan cities like LA or NY. I think we forget how vast and diverse it can be.

Unless you're talking about visiting specific landmarks, there's not much you can't experience or do within the US. I always found it silly when people would talk about food specifically. One of the countries I travel most frequently to is Mexico as it's only a couple hours drive. I struggle to not look too amused when people, which are almost exclusively people who've gone only one or two times, bring up "real Mexican food". The foods quality is not enhanced by being in a different country. Barring dishes where certain ingredients are regulated or illegal, if it can be made in one country, it can very much be made elsewhere 1:1 and taste just as good.

TF? Char in his Zaku, which isn't even comparable to your stock base Zaku, still couldn't hope to compare to Amuro and his Gundam. Regardless of the fact that Amuro was an NT, it was still only his 3rd time piloting the suit against Char so he was largely considered a novice still even by Char. So a stock Zaku, even piloted by an Ace like Char, would have gotten smoked by novice in a Gundam.

That's precisely why you never see Char or any other Zeon Ace pilot a Zaku, commander type or not, ever again against the Gundam. It's an arms race both in terms of mobile suits and NTs. At least in the UC that is. Everything outside of UC becomes pure novelty, especially when it comes to "Gundam" suits.

I think that will end up being Switch. PS4 didn't sell all that great in Japan and PlayStation is very American focused now.

Still would be higher than Xbox unless Phil Spencer has been working overtime over there though.

Main reason Switch is doing so well is because they're a nation of mobile gamers, but most Japanese developers know that Japanese gamers only make up a fraction of their audience. It's rare this day and age to have JP exclusive games.
