In the west, men do not have the right to dictate what a woman's preferences are in the men she dates. She has the liberty to accept and decline whoever she wants. It's unjust and oppressive to try to regulate that choice for her. It's wrong to shame her for it. And only she gets to decide what makes a man attractive to her and what doesn't.

That door swings both ways.

In the same vein, women do not get to dictate who men accept or decline either. If a large portion of the male populous has determined dating a single mother has more cons to it than pros...boohoo, boo boo. It's their choice, their rules just the same.

Everything you said is 100% correct and I wish everyone thought like this. But a lot of people (wrongfully) don't agree. Plenty of folks think a woman can reject a man for ANY reason no matter how asinine it is, but a man doesn't get that same privilege (look at this topic).

Second, if anyone is saying that spider lives matter, I agree and people who treat them like they don't are just wrong. Spiders are fantastic. I wish all people were actually spiders instead. We are saying that, according to statistics, only 9 unarmed black people were killed by cops last year (Or 13 if you include some others who have questionable weapons). 48+ cops were killed last year, and I dont know the number, but WAY more than 9 white people were killed by cops last year.

Our argument is, why the protests only when it fits a narrative? Meanwhile, Chicago is breaking records every weekend with black on black crime.

Sorry it doesn't work that way. When you stop someone on the street or pull their car over it's YOUR responsibility to start the chain of respect. Speak to citizens with respect, and don't be rude because if you do the citizen is likely to be rude as well. Which leads to escalation.
