As bad as covid has been for the world at large, I can't deny that not only has it not affected me, a lot of things in my life have actually gotten BETTER as a result. None of my family or friends have been affected. Working from home has saved me TONS of time and money, and may be a permanent move, for me. Basically unlimited overtime at work, to be taken as desired. Plus big company wide bonuses. Not to mention the payment/interest freezes on my student loans, and the stimulus check... literally for the first time since I've finished college, I feel like I've made significant headway in getting my life back from crippling debt. In the last 3 months, I've probably taken YEARS of debt repayment off my plate. And that 10k would help a ton. Idk. I know itd be the wrong choice to make, and choosing the world over myself is objectively the right decision. But if these options were literally in front of me, right now... idk if I would do the right thing. --- Haven't had a good sig idea since 2006 |
