Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if WWE do still have great reveunes.

All their TV Deals are still paying out. So is the Network. They fired half their staff and they are not paying the cost of having 200 people on the road every day of the week.

If WWE makes $80,000 at a live event they probably spent $50,000 to host it and the arena took another $26,000.

Try watching an episode of Lost in Space. Thats usually a 15 minute plot stretched into a full 55 minutes. I dont know how I got through them as a kid.

Unfair, what you said about it being too slow-paced is ridiculous. TNG is so, so slow-paced that it's just pathetic, almost every episode would've been better, sometimes much better, if it was 30 minutes, rather than 45 minutes. TNG had pacing problems to the max. 1960s Star Trek was basically okay for pacing.

Season 1 TNG? I agree.

But after that? Nah I don't see it. Sometimes TNG had so much going on the episodes seemed rushed and underexplored. They were bursting with ideas and the character interaction was top notch. The "Crewmates bumming round" teasers at the start of episodes were sometimes better than the rest of the episode in TNG.

Also, when was the acting very bad?

Pretty much 80% of the episodes. Characters just walk up to each other unnaturally, stand there awkwardly for entire scenes, talk like they're on a childrens school play.

There's one episode where they are in a shuttle and trying to repair the shuttle, Spock repairs the shuttle and powers it up and in response another officer leaps out of her chair, jumps to her knees, crawls around like a dog, says something dumb like "It's working!" then stays on her knees in the middle of the floor for the rest of the scene stock still.

Every episode is full of shit like that

I disagree.

I respect it for having some great ideas/characters and creating an amazing franchise.

But it's hard to watch now unless you cherry pick the best episodes.

The plots are insane and usually very stupid, the acting is often very poor, there's some really bad cinematography on display where sometimes even the quality of the film will change during an episode or the camera will be shaking or character will teleport.

And the way they treat women is fucked. The cheesy romance music kicks in, the excuses to make every female character wear stupid dresses, the long shots of their faces or them walking in. Their instant falling in love with whoever needs to fall in love at the moment (usually Kirk) the weird ass dialogue women have and the way people talk to women which is as natural as a Speak'n'Spell.

"Hey look Abe Lincoln turned up" "Hey look Apollo turned up." "Hey look, it turns out every single historical figure in history was actually just one guy, and I'm in love with his robot daughter I met 20 minutes ago." "Hey look we're traveling back to the 1960s or else found a planet just liek the 1960s again!"

It's just kinda dumb.

But above all, it's paced so poorly. The episodes feel like 25 minute plots that go on for 48. There's lots of redundant conversations were people stand around repeating what's going on or anime style close ups of everyone's faces.

Most episodes of TOS are boring and feel edited. It's begging for a TFS style abriged series.

Sure if you go to Youtube and look up highlights or cherry pick the best episodes, it's amazing.

But if you try to watch them now in order and compare it to DS9 or TNG? It's like comparing burnt toast to a King's feast.

There are only 2 Stasis Pods still intact which once activated couldn't be opened until you reach an outpost (At least not without killing those inside), it would take 47 years to reach the nearest outpost at your ship's damaged non-FTL Speeds. And there is only enough oxygen/food for one person to breathe/eat that long.

1 of you has to stay awake and pilot the ship alone for 47 years.
2 of you get to go into status.
And 1 of you has to die.

There's fucking tons of playable dads but no moms. Sometimes literally. Games like Nier and God of War reboot just kick off with the mom fucked off.

There's some peripheral ones like Fable where you can optionally be a mom but they just skip the pregnancy part.

Or Samuai/Dynasty Warriors were like 1 or 2 of the 2,700 officers is a mom.

Closest I can think is Silent Hill 3 and that's about as peripheral as it gets if you're familar with the plot of that.

There was an fan made Neverwinter Nights module where you could if you had unprotected sex but it always ended in miscarriage. Doesn't count tho as it's fan made.

Feels like a fundamentally huge wide area of humanity that video games don't explore.

Sure it wouldn't work for Zelda or Doom. But imagine like a Telltale Walking Dead Adventure Game where the protagnist is pregnant. I can think of like 12 different dramatic scenarios that could stem from that at the top of my head.

Or like a mystery game where your husband has gone missing and there's signs people are trying to kill him but no one takes you seriously, so you have to get to the bottom of the mystery and intrigue while being hindered by a 7 month pot belly and scared of the growing danger.

Or an RPG where your character is a mage or in a mech. Christ I mean Lulu moves like she's pregnant in FFX as it is.
