The mask is to protect the uninfected from the asymptomatic, not to protect the guy who is tested daily. Please feel free to keep up with current guidelines before you make yourself look foolish just because you hate the president.

If he is traveling then why is he not wearing an N95 mask? He is the leader of the country and instead of at least following the bare minimum guideline for the facilities he doesnt cover his face at all. We have also seen him shake hands with people, and posing with people who were later tested and had the virus.

If you want to pick a specific spell and a specific target, you still have to pause the action to do so for a moment. That said, you can assign commonly used spells to one of four shortcuts. The AI will automatically pick the best target for you. Also the allies' AI is pretty good about spell use, using specific attack spells that enemies are weak against, for example. Not perfect, but in my Duran/Angela/Riesz run I rarely had to tell Riesz to make sure to lower an enemy's defense or Angela to use the proper spell.

Eh, I will always control Angela because the AI doesnt do strong attacks to refill her mana

I played the original ToM last year and it's okay. The menu lag is kinda bothersome. Magic constantly pausing the action is kinda bothersome. Among other things. I'm guessing the remake remediates these problems in some way.

The ring menus pause the game but you cast magic in real time. Believe me I would be complaining if it was a problem because Angela is my main character.

The only time Ive experienced lag or frame drops is when the time of day changes. Some of the loading screens take too long but that might be because Im on Switch.

I liked Secret of Mana but think its grossly overrated. I dont know, it just didnt feel like there was much to do besides beat on enemies, grind skills and spam magic on bosses until they died. It was also easy as hell.

Trials is kinda the same way (not grindy) but less so. Its more enjoyable in 3D too I guess. The game could stand to be harder though. Im playing on Hard with Angela, Hawkeye and Charlotte and have 5 elementals.

Tried playing ME1 again recently and it's... pretty rough in every area.

Whereas the gameplay in 2 and 3 holds up pretty well, I feel like 1 would benefit from a complete overhaul.

Yeah I agree but there's some people who prefer 1 by a lot. Idk why, it was a snoozefest for me. They also complained so much about weapons having ammo in the next game

My ideal game would be 2 with more fleshed out abilities

I like all the handheld Wario games. The GBA one went completely under my radar and I only played it recently, it's really good.

I like WarioWare (if you havent played Gold, check it out because I think its by far the best one), but its really sad that they shafted the Wario Land games in favor of those.

The issue of long, drawn out text boxes and cutscenes, which are honestly a hallmark of the series, is taken way too far with online play. It honestly makes me not want to play online at all. They need to just make it so you are always-online if connected to the internet, so you can see whose gates are open and can open yours or travel with less hassle. It wouldve been a great start at least. This is a console game, its not really a stretch to assume many people will play this with an internet connection nearby.
