Battle was pretty decent, better than most of the Xenoblade music that I'm familiar with through Smash. I came out thinking that I'd probably be voting for it if the other song didn't impress me... but then it did. It has a really strange sound, it's like a certain genre remixed into something different. I still have no idea what this game (or series) is, but I enjoyed the song.

I did some digging in a few more articles.

Apparently the reveal trailer was "leaked" on 2/18/20 on this Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPH_9xNeHTk There's absolutely no context or information as to where they got this video. The game had been known/rumored since 2019 thanks to a screenshot of a German ratings board (supposedly, according to a Reddit post) but this was the first time that there was any actual content shown. This same video later got uploaded on 3/26/20 to an account claiming to be the official Cooking Mama Youtube account, yet suspiciously only has 1266 views (and that's taking into account the surge that it's surely gotten this week due to this whole situation, so it probably had like nothing before). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qycn-u3j-wc

Nintendo has never actually posted about it anywhere online. There was no pre-listing for it on the eShop prior to the date of its intended release, and no trace of it after it was pulled. I don't think it was even on their website at any point (not that it was deleted, it was never there at all). There is an official Cooking Mama series Twitter account and they've never mentioned this game.

I don't think that the crypto-mining thing is true at all. The only source that keeps circulating is that single screenshot of a Discord chat which obviously has no sources to back up its own claim. It would make this even funnier but I don't think that it's part of the story.
