| Wii_Shaker 05/02/20 2:25:23 AM #5 | I've never been a cutter or caused physical harm to myself out of depression. I do have self-destructive tendencies when I lose my temper. I've been through years of therapy to help me control my rage. I have lost my temper and have broken household appliances, punched holes in the wall, broke glass in cars and have lost relationships due to domestic abuse. I have found that giving my negative emotions power, allowed them to control me and make my current situation worse by reacting out of anger instead of rationality. As a result, I now try to let my anger go as soon as I feel it bubbling up. This has made me more laid-back and far less unpredictable. Is it really fair to compare the movies and the games when both Capcom and the movie's directors have stated that they are not canonically related? That being said, games like RE: Survivor and RE: Gaiden instantly sink the franchise in terms of consistency. I was going to vote Zelda, but even the Zelda CD-i Games were properly licensed. I believe in the supernatural (spirits and such) and I believe that mushrooms allow your mind to vibrate at a frequency that allows you to be open to psychic projections such as wayward spirits. Crazy, I know but as a sensible person, I can't explain the high strangeness. The last time I did DMT I saw vibrant colors and geometric shapes which I identified as being the "framework" of existence. Sort of like an operating system. | Wii_Shaker 04/30/20 4:40:44 PM #12 | Outlast and Alien: Isolation are the best first-person survival-horror games I've played (save for RE7). Silent Hill 2 and 3 are great though the first Silent Hill has not aged well. The Evil Within is the closest gaming experience to an actual nightmare, very fun RE4 style gameplay. I'm also going to throw Killer7 on the list if you are looking for a unique take on the genre and Shadows of the Damned, which is kind of it's spiritual successor. I would actually avoid the Alone in the Dark games, all of them fall very short if you are accustomed to games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Also Dino Crisis, which is made by Capcom and plays much like RE3 but has dinosaurs instead of zombies and a spy-theme. --- "He busted in, blessed be the Lord Who believe any mess they read up on a message board" -MF DOOM |

The game really screws you too by sealing you in a dungeon right before the fight.
