Austin is amazing. As a born and bred Texan, its my favorite area of the state. The only real part of Texas with actual hills lol

Yeah its crowded, but thats because everyone likes it there. Infrastructure cant handle the amount of people in such a small area. With no traffic, only takes like 25 minutes to drive through all of Austin. Its not a huge town.

Traffic is bad, but its nowhere near LA traffic bad. Plus the food is INCREDIBLE. Everything is local, organic, farm to market, etc. Chain restaurants dont do as well as local places there. And I think thats awesome.

Food is the same as every other big city in TX. And you're from Tx, yet you say it's the only place with hills? You haven't visited many of the surrounding areas have you?

Not sure who you're asking, but Dallas is pretty bad ass actually. Just watch out for people on the highway. They will run you off of the road there.

I mean once or twice a year, maybe it's fun to visit if there's a new restaurant or something, but that's about it. 6th street is over rated and over priced, nothing but rich tourists and college kid, with a few ghetto people from down the street.

That place is over rated. Tons of traffic everywhere and everyone who lives there thinks their the shit because they are in Austin. The bars aren't even that great. Now with Corona virus, there's no reason to go to the arcade or the festivals either and those are crowded as well.

The mentality a lot of the people have there is "look at me look what I can do." People that are obsessed with competition, their status, their appearance. It's just stupid. And that's only after you are able to get out of the car after 1-2 hours of traffic.

Most of the people there aren't even from Tx. It's over rated. Tired of hearing about that place.

Honestly, I do feel sorry for the nice ones. Just didn't meet any when I was there. All I got was attitude and people talking to me like garbage.

it's getting sick or not finding food right now for some. though there won't be any help coming for 3 weeks at best for some who need unemployment until first checks.

there's food, but people dont know what to buy. beans and rice keep for a while, just like a lot of canned and frozen foods. noodles keep for a while. sliced bread lasts a while if you freeze it. peanut butter lasts a while. you just have to know what to buy.

I can understand the worry over losing the jobs, but over toilet paper and sanitizer is kind of ridiculous. Stores are saying they will have plenty, what's causing this is that people are freaking out and buying up everything. The panickers are their own worst enemy. If people would just fucking relax and not over buy things, and if they would just stay inside, this whole thing would be over a lot faster.
